Sanchez is out of the lineup against Tampa Bay on Saturday, Mike Mazzeo of the New York Daily News reports.
Sanchez will take a seat as Austin Romine sets up behind the plate to catch Sonny Gray during Saturday's matinee. Over 62 games this year, Sanchez is slashing .194/.292/.441 with 14 home runs and 41 RBI. Look for him to return to the lineup Sunday.

White Sox's Omar Narvaez: Drives in two on three-hit night
Narvaez went 3-for-4 with a run and two RBI in the second game of Friday's doubleheader against the A's.
Narvaez slashed a two-run single off starter Chris Bassitt in the second inning, giving him nine RBI on the year. Narvaez has registered multi-hit performances in five of his last seven games, moving his slash line to .241/.320/.339 on the season. The 26-year-old figures to continue sharing time behind the plate with Kevan Smith for the time being.

Garver is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Rangers.
Bobby Wilson will draw his second consecutive start behind the plate, although Garver did have a hit as a late-game substitute Thursday. Garver has a .224/.293/.328 slash line this season, and is 2-for-15 over his last five games.

Tigers' Josh Thole: Joins Tigers on minor-league deal
Thole signed a minor-league deal with Detroit on Friday, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.
The veteran catcher last played in the big leagues for the Blue Jays in 2016, posting a .169/.254/.220 line in 50 games. He's expected to report to Double-A Erie.

White Sox's Seby Zavala: Transferred to Charlotte
Zavala was promoted to Triple-A Charlotte on Thursday, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.
Zavala will get his first taste of the Triple-A level after playing in 56 games for Double-A Birmingham in 2018. The catcher has hit .271/.358/.472 with 11 home runs and 31 RBI this year, including a recent 4-for-4 showing against Chattanooga last week. Don't expect to see Zavala in the big leagues at any point this season, but he can start to make his case for the 2019 campaign over the next couple months.
