Eric Haase C | SF
Tigers' Eric Haase: Four hits in matinee
Haase went 4-for-4 with a run scored in a 4-3 win over the Guardians during the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader.
All four hits were singles, but Haase won't complain after entering the contest with just seven hits in 36 at-bats this season. He upped his average from .194 to .275 with the big performance, then got a well-deserved rest in the nightcap. Jake Rogers has flashed some power in the early going, though Haase should remain the primary catcher in Detroit, and he can also play some in the outfield.

Shea Langeliers C | ATH
Athletics' Shea Langeliers: Sitting out Tuesday
Langeliers isn't starting Tuesday's game against the Cubs.
Langeliers has been crushing the ball lately, slashing .350/.409/.750 with two homers and seven RBI over the past week. He gets a breather Tuesday as Carlos Perez takes over behind the plate and bats seventh.

Jonah Heim C | ATL
Rangers' Jonah Heim: Not starting Tuesday
Heim isn't starting Tuesday against the Royals.
Heim is 4-for-12 with two RBI and four walks over his last four games, earning him a day of rest Tuesday. Sandy Leon will take over behind the dish and bat ninth.

Tyler Soderstrom C | ATH
Athletics' Tyler Soderstrom: Majority of starts at catcher
Soderstrom has played more games at catcher (eight) than first base (three) with Triple-A Las Vegas.
He has been roughly league average (97 wRC+) in the early going, as a .267/.346/.511 slash line is par for the course in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League. However, the fact the A's have continued to stress his development behind the dish is noteworthy, as most evaluators view him as the team's first baseman of the future.

Cal Raleigh C | SEA
Mariners' Cal Raleigh: Slugs second homer
Raleigh went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in a loss to the Brewers on Monday.
Raleigh squared up on a Corbin Burnes changeup in the second inning and sent it 392 feet to right center for his second round tripper of the season. The blast extended the hard-hitting backstop's on-base streak to five games, and he's now laced six of his 12 hits on the season for extra bases.

Mitch Garver DH | SEA
Rangers' Mitch Garver: Needs four weeks off
Texas manager Bruce Bochy said Monday that Garver (knee) will need about four weeks to recover, Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports.
When asked if Garver would return Wednesday when eligible, Bochy provided a new timeline for the injury, which was originally described as a minor knee sprain. The longer-term recovery for Garver means he may not return until early May.

Alejandro Kirk C | TOR
Blue Jays' Alejandro Kirk: Takes seat Monday
Kirk is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Astros.
Danny Jansen will draw the start at catcher while Brandon Belt serves as the Blue Jays' designated hitter with Kirk sitting after he had been included in the lineup in three of the past four games. With an even 8:8 BB:K through his first 13 games of the season, Kirk appears to be seeing the ball well, but it hasn't translated to eye-popping fantasy numbers. He enters Monday's game with a .243 average, one home run, nine RBI and four runs.

Connor Wong C | BOS
Red Sox's Connor Wong: Resting Monday
Wong is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Angels, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.
Given that the Red Sox are closing out their four-game series with the Angels with a day game along with the fact that he started behind the dish in each of the previous three days, Wong's absence from the lineup Monday comes as little surprise. Reese McGuire will form a battery with starting pitcher Brayan Bello (forearm) in the latter's return from the 15-day injured list.

Shea Langeliers C | ATH
Athletics' Shea Langeliers: Tallies two RBI in defeat
Langliers went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Mets.
Langliers put Oakland in front in the eighth inning with a two-run double to left field for his second multi-hit effort over as many games. The 25-year-old backstop is off to a nice start, slashing .271/.327/.500 with three homers and eight RBI over 52 plate appearances. He has primarily been hitting towards the bottom of the order but could force manager Mark Kotsay to move him up if he keeps hitting.

Christian Bethancourt C | CHC
Rays' Christian Bethancourt: Smashes three-run shot in win
Bethancourt went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in Sunday's 8-1 win over Toronto.
Bethancourt's three-run shot in the fifth extended Tampa Bay's lead to 7-1 and gave the catcher a long ball in back-to-back games. After not getting a hit across his first three starts, Bethancourt has hit safely in five of his last six, totaling two multi-hit games and six RBI during that stretch.
