Vazquez went 2-for-5 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 6-3 win over Baltimore.

Vazquez doubled and scored in the third inning before knocking a two-run single in the 11th. It was his second multi-hit game of the month and he's now hitting .143 with three RBI through 12 September appearances. On the year, Vazquez is slashing .274/.316/.394 with 50 RBI and 30 extra-base hits through 113 games.

Raleigh was removed from Sunday's loss to the Royals after aggravating his thumb injury while catching, Shannon Drayer of Seattle Sports 710 AM reports.

Raleigh recently missed four games due to his thumb injury, and the thumb was hit while catching in the bottom of the sixth inning. Manager Scott Servais said that the catcher was OK during strength tests on the field and wanted to stay in, but the team ultimately replaced him in the top of the seventh inning. He should tentatively be considered day-to-day ahead of Tuesday's series opener against the Rangers.

Mejia is not in Sunday's lineup against the Blue Jays.

Mejia is in a 4-for-27 (.148 AVG) slump over his last nine games. Christian Bethancourt will start behind the dish, hitting seventh.

Huff started at catcher and went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 4-2 loss to Cleveland.

Huff was the catcher du jour after sitting the previous two games. Jonah Heim and Kevin Plawecki made starts before Huff returned to the lineup. Since being called up in September, Huff is batting .207 (6-for-29) with two homers, one double, two walks, four RBI and two runs scored while striking out 32.3 percent of the time.

Sanchez went 1-for-3 with a home run and four RBI in Saturday's 8-4 win against the Angels.

Sanchez produced a sacrifice fly in the first inning and broke the game open in the fifth, slugging a 432-foot, three-run homer to give Minnesota a 7-3 lead. The long ball was his first since Sept. 5 -- a span of 17 games. Sanchez has struggled this month, slashing .174/.231/.290 with a 30.8 percent strikeout rate, though he has knocked in 12 runs over 22 games.

Raleigh went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double and three total RBI in Saturday's 6-5 win against Kansas City.

Curt Casali got the start behind the plate for Seattle, but Raleigh came in to pinch hit for his fellow backstop in the sixth inning. The substitution paid immediate dividends, as Raleigh blasted a 444-foot two-run homer to right field to tie the score 5-5. He came through in the clutch again in the ninth inning, knocking a run-scoring double to plate the winning run. Raleigh leads all major-league catchers with 25 homers on the season and ranks sixth at the position with 59 RBI.

Raleigh will be on the bench Saturday against the Royals.

Raleigh is a switch hitter, but he's been on the bench against the last four lefties the Mariners have faced, including Saturday's starter Kris Bubic. Curt Casali will get the nod behind the plate.

Haase isn't starting Saturday against the White Sox.

Haase continues to alternate starts behind the plate and will get a breather after going 2-for-4 with an RBI and a strikeout Friday. Tucker Barnhart will start at catcher and bat eighth.

Jansen isn't starting Saturday against the Rays.

Jansen started the last two games and went 1-for-6 with a run, an RBI and a walk. Alejandro Kirk will take over behind the plate and bat cleanup.

Trevino isn't in the lineup Saturday against Boston.

Trevino has gone 4-for-13 with a double, three RBI, a run and three strikeouts over the last four games but will head to the bench for the second time in the last three matchups. Kyle Higashioka is starting behind the plate and batting ninth.
