Mets catcher Travis d'Arnaud is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Yankees. The Mets' young catcher has started four games in a row, so this is pretty standard rest for him.

Phillies C Cameron Rupp hits solo home run in loss to Braves
Phillies catcher Cameron Rupp went 1 for 3 with a solo homer and a walk in Friday's loss to Atlanta.
As he slowly takes the reins from veteran catcher Carlos Ruiz, Rupp has developed into a bit of a power threat. Over the past month, Rupp has gone yard five times and, despite hitting just one homer prior to the All-Star break, his eight dingers since ranks fifth among catchers.

Dodgers C Yasmani Grandal not in Tuesday's lineup
Dodgers catcher Yasmani Grandal is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rockies.
The 26-year-old has had a rough go of it of late, to put it mildly. Grandal had been 0 for his last 36 before racking up two hits in Monday's win, with his OPS falling from .874 to .796 over the 12-game hitless streak.
He also dealt with a shoulder injury recently, but there's been nothing to suggest his playing time will be scaled back moving forward. A.J. Ellis gets the start Tuesday.

Padres catcher Derek Norris out Tuesday with hand injury
Padres catcher Derek Norris (hand) is out of the lineup Tuesday against the Diamondbacks.
X-rays on Norris' right hand were negative after he was struck by a foul tip in Monday's game, forcing his early exit. Norris will sit Tuesday, but Austin Hedges was apparently already scheduled to start Tuesday before the injury to Norris. It doesn't sound like Norris is expected to miss extended time.
