Ramirez went 2-for-3 with a double, a run scored, a stolen base and a walk in Monday's win over the Reds.

Ramirez singled in his first career MLB at-bat and came around to score during the second inning. His first extra-base knock was a ground-rule double in the seventh. Ramirez got the start behind the plate and his batterymate, Max Meyer, fired six shutout frames with 14 punchouts. Ramirez is one of the team's top prospects and is already building a strong case for regular playing time.

The Marlins placed Brantly (lat) on the 10-day injured list Monday.

Brantly has been diagnosed with a strained right lat. The Marlins have promoted top catching prospect Agustin Ramirez to take Brantly's place on the roster.

The Marlins recalled Ramirez from Triple-A Jacksonville on Monday.

One of Miami's top prospects, Ramirez was acquired from the Yankees in the Jazz Chisholm trade last summer. The 23-year-old is now set to make his MLB debut after slashing .254/.313/.479 with three home runs, 12 RBI, 13 runs scored and five stolen bases across 80 plate appearances at the Triple-A level. In a corresponding move, the Marlins placed Rob Brantly (lat) on the 10-day injured list.

Stephenson (oblique) worked out with Triple-A Louisville this weekend and is expected to begin a rehab assignment Tuesday, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports.

Stephenson has been on the 10-day injured list since late in spring training and hasn't played in a game since mid-March. That length of absence suggests he'll require a significant amount of at-bats before rejoining the Reds roster -- maybe 20-to-30 at-bats over a week. As a comparison, the Rangers' Wyatt Langford missed the minimum 10 days and returned Sunday from a less-severe oblique injury after only six at-bats (two games).

Fulford went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader against the Nationals.

Fulford drew his second start since being recalled Wednesday and hit ninth in the order. He went yard to lead off the sixth inning, accounting for his first big-league hit and homer. Fulford should continue to get looks as the backup catcher so long as Kris Bryant (back) is sidelined, which allows Hunter Goodman to serve as the designated hitter.

Huff went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk in Sunday's loss to the Angels.

Huff took Brock Burke deep in the sixth to push the Giants ahead 3-1. It was Huff's first home run in what was his eighth appearance of the season as he maintains a backup catcher role behind Patrick Bailey.

Baldwin went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Twins.

Baldwin extended Atlanta's lead to 5-0 with a two-run blast in the third inning. The 24-year-old is riding a seven-game hit streak as he competes for time at catcher alongside Sean Murphy. On the season, he's hitting .238 with two homers, six RBI and two runs scored across his first 46 major-league plate appearances.

Ramirez is expected to be called up from Triple-A Jacksonville on Monday, Craig Mish of the Miami Herald reports.

Ramirez will make his major-league debut Monday versus the Reds, joining the Marlins roster after batting .258 with three home runs, 12 RBI, 11 runs scored and five stolen bases over 66 at-bats in 18 games at Triple-A. The catcher will likely compete with Liam Hicks for work behind the plate moving forward with Nick Fortes (oblique) currently unavailable with a Grade 1 left oblique strain.

Wynns went 6-for-7 with a homer, six RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 24-2 rout over Baltimore.

Wynns -- Cincinnati's backup catcher -- opened the game's scoring in the second inning with an RBI single and also plated the last runs with a three-run homer off Gary Sanchez in the ninth. In between, the 34-year-old knocked four additional singles to become the first Red with six hits in a regular-season game since Phil Ervin on July 13, 2019. The incredible career-best performance pushed Wynns' slash line to .455/.500/.727 over 27 plate appearances this season.

Manager Carlos Mendoza said Sunday that Alvarez (hand) is scheduled to continue his minor-league rehab assignment this week, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

The skipper previously indicated that Alvarez could be back during the current homestand, which ends Wednesday, but it appears the 23-year-old backstop will be on the shelf for at least a few more days. Alvarez has gone 6-for-27 with a walk and three homers across seven rehab games in the minors, and he's still on track to make his season debut for the Mets before the end of April.
