Willson Contreras C | BOS
Cubs' Willson Contreras: Managing right hamstring tightness
Contreras was removed from Saturday's game against the Diamondbacks due to right hamstring tightness, Patrick Mooney of The Athletic reports.
Contreras started Saturday's game as the designated hitter and went 1-for-2 with a stolen base. While he singled and swiped a bag in the bottom of the third inning, he apparently tweaked something since Rafael Ortega took over as a pinch runner. The severity of the 30-year-old's injury isn't yet clear, but Yan Gomes should see increased work behind the dish if Contreras misses additional time.

Omar Narvaez C | HOU
Brewers' Omar Narvaez: On bench against lefty
Narvaez will sit against lefty Patrick Corbin and the Nationals on Saturday.
Narvaez has only made a single start against a southpaw this season, so it's no surprise to see him on the bench here. Victor Caratini will get the start behind the plate.
-
Jacob Stallings C | BAL
Marlins' Jacob Stallings: Resting Saturday
Stallings will sit Saturday against Atlanta, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Stallings has handled a heavy workload behind the plate this season -- he's currently tied for fourth with 28 starts at the catcher position. He'll get a rest Saturday, with Payton Henry catching for Elieser Hernandez.

Travis d'Arnaud C | LAA
Braves' Travis d'Arnaud: Not starting Saturday
D'Arnaud isn't starting Saturday against the Marlins.
D'Arnaud will get a breather after he went 3-for-8 with a homer, a double and two RBI over the last two games. William Contreras will take over behind the dish and bat eighth.

Joey Bart C | PIT
Giants' Joey Bart: Out of lineup
Bart will sit Saturday against San Diego, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Bart finds himself on the bench for the fourth time in the last five games. He's hit just .103/.278/.207 while striking out 44.4 percent of the time in the month of May. Michael Papierski will make his major-league debut behind the plate.
-
Curt Casali C | ATL
Giants' Curt Casali: Placed on injured list
Casali was placed on the 7-day concussion injured list Saturday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Casali was hit by a foul tip on his mask during Friday's loss to the Padres, and he'll be unavailable for at least a week after being diagnosed with a concussion. However, the Giants are hopeful that the 33-year-old will be able to return after missing the minimum of seven days. Michael Papierski's contract was selected by the Giants, and he'll start behind the dish Saturday against San Diego.
-
Tomas Nido C | DET
Mets' Tomas Nido: On bench for matinee
Nido isn't starting the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Rockies, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.
Nido has alternated starts behind the dish over the last week, and he'll get a breather in Saturday's matinee. Patrick Mazeika will start at catcher and bat ninth.

Willson Contreras C | BOS
Cubs' Willson Contreras: Leading off Saturday
Contreras is serving as the DH and batting first in Saturday's game against the Diamondbacks.
After catching and batting second Friday, Contreras gets a break behind the plate Saturday, though the Cubs will keep his bat in the lineup. He's 2-for-7 in his career against Arizona starter Madison Bumgarner and has pounded lefties so far this season to the tune of a .618 slugging percentage, so it could be an advantageous matchup. Contreras has also been solid this month with a .913 OPS.

Yan Gomes C | CHC
Cubs' Yan Gomes: Enters lineup Saturday
Gomes is starting at catcher and batting fourth in Saturday's game against the Diamondbacks.
Meanwhile, Willson Contreras will serve as the DH as the Cubs load up on right-handed hitters against lefty Madison Bumgarner. Gomes is 0-for-2 in his career against Bumgarner, though he does own a career .818 OPS against southpaws, while his mark against righties dips to .677.
