Davis went 1-for-4 with a grand slam in Wednesday's 11-9 loss to the Astros.

Davis gave the Pirates a 4-2 lead in the fourth inning with his slam, which was his third homer over his last seven contests. While he's shown a bit of power recently, he has gone just 4-for-24 (.167) with eight strikeouts during that span. The catcher has lost some time to Endy Rodriguez amid his season-long struggles. Davis is batting a mere .143 with a .533 OPS, five homers, 16 RBI, 13 runs scored, one stolen base and three doubles over 135 plate appearances. Expect Davis and Rodriguez to continue to operate in a timeshare.

Fermin is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Phillies.

Fermin has yet to pick up a hit since May 14 while in the midst of an 0-for-26 slide at the plate, and he will take a seat Wednesday after starting five of the previous six games. Rodolfo Duran will replace him at catcher and bat ninth in the order.

Realmuto (wrist) will start at catcher and bat seventh in Wednesday's game against the Padres.

Realmuto missed Tuesday's series opener after being hit on the left wrist by a pitch versus the Dodgers on Sunday, but he's back in there following a one-game absence. The veteran catcher enters play Wednesday having slashed only .192/.259/.260 in 22 games since the start of May.

Susac went 3-for-4 in Tuesday's 8-3 loss to the Brewers.

Susac recorded three singles in Tuesday's defeat, marking his third three-hit effort of the season. The 25-year-old catcher has started seven of the last 10 games, batting .208 with four RBI, three runs scored and a double in 29 plate appearances during that span. While Eric Haase remains in the mix for starts, Susac figures to continue seeing most of the work behind the plate. He's now slashing .323/.377/.419 with 11 RBI, four runs scored and four doubles across 70 plate appearances this season.

Hicks is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Nationals.

Left-hander Andrew Alvarez is starting for the Nationals on Wednesday, so the Marlins will go with a right-handed-heavy lineup for the series finale. Hicks will hit the bench along with fellow left-handed hitters Owen Caissie and Jakob Marsee.

McCann (quad) has started taking machine batting practice and doing catching drills, Alex Weiner of Arizona Sports reports.

McCann is rehabbing a quad strain that landed him on the 10-day injured list May 19. At that time, the club estimated a 4-to-6 week timeline for his return.

Rodriguez went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, a walk, three RBI, an additional run scored and a stolen base in Tuesday's 10-6 win over the Astros.

Rodriguez gave Pittsburgh an early spark in the second inning by launching a two-run homer off Mike Burrows for his first long ball of the season. He later added an RBI double in the ninth inning and also stole his second base of the year during the sixth. Since being recalled May 12, Rodriguez has started to find a rhythm at the plate, batting 9-for-30 (.300) with two doubles, five RBI and seven runs scored.

Goodman went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and a walk in Tuesday's 8-2 win over the Angels.

Goodman has turned the power up with four homers and eight RBI over his last seven games. He got the scoring started when he took Grayson Rodriguez deep in the second inning Tuesday. Goodman is hitting .275 over his last 10 contests and is up to .243 on the year with an .811 OPS, 15 homers, 27 RBI, 36 runs scored, 10 doubles and three stolen bases over 56 contests.

Mack went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and an additional RBI during the Marlins' 7-3 win over the Nationals on Tuesday.

Both teams failed to score through the first four innings of Tuesday's game, but Mack quickly changed that with a two-run homer off Miles Mikolas in the fifth inning, which was followed up by consecutive solo homers from Heriberto Hernandez and Otto Lopez. It was the first home run of Mack's major-league career, and he gave the Marlins an insurance run in the ninth with a sacrifice bunt that brought Liam Hicks home. Mack is slashing .214/.257/.300 with nine RBI, four extra-base hits and eight runs scored across 76 plate appearances since being called up from Triple-A Jacksonville in early May.

Millas was removed from Tuesday's game against the Marlins with an upper lip laceration, Kyle Williams of TheBanner.com reports.

Millas' helmet came off his head and bounced back into his face while he was sliding into third base in the sixth inning, causing his lip to start bleeding. He was removed by a trainer shortly thereafter and can likely be considered day-to-day for now.
