William Contreras C | MIL
Brewers' William Contreras: Reaches thrice in win
Contreras went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored during Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Rangers.
Contreras got the Brewers on the board in the third inning, swatting a leadoff double before being driven in on a two-out single by Jackson Chourio. Tuesday's contest marked Contreras' first multi-hit game since June 16. While the catcher's power numbers are down overall, he's one stolen base away from matching his career high of six and is on pace for a career-best strikeout rate at 19.3 percent.

Gabriel Moreno C | ARI
Diamondbacks' Gabriel Moreno: Catching bullpen session
Moreno (thumb) will catch Zac Gallen's (hamstring) bullpen session Thursday, Theo Mackie of The Arizona Republic reports.
A sprained left thumb forced Moreno onto the injured list Saturday, and Wednesday's bullpen session will allow him to get a feel for how his thumb feels in his glove after a few days of recovery. Assuming all goes well, there is a strong possibility that the 24-year-old backstop will be able to return from the injured list when eligible next Tuesday.

Henry Davis C | PIT
Pirates' Henry Davis: Beginning assignment Wednesday
Davis (concussion) will begin a rehab assignment with Double-A Altoona on Wednesday, Noah Hiles of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Davis has been on the 7-day concussion IL since June 15, and Wednesday will be the first time he's played in any sort of game since then. The Pirates haven't indicated how long the 24-year-old's assignment might last, though it's possible he remains in the minors upon being activated after slashing just .153/.267/.235 across 101 major-league plate appearances this season.

Ivan Herrera C | STL
Cardinals' Ivan Herrera: Hoping to swing bat Wednesday
Herrera (back) will play catch Tuesday and is hoping to hit off a tee and take flips Wednesday, John Denton of MLB.com reports.
Herrera is eligible for activation Saturday but could need a rehab assignment before returning. He could make it back by early July if all goes well. It wouldn't seem to be a given that Herrera rejoins the big-league roster at that point, however, since Willson Contreras is back from the injured list and Pedro Pages had been playing over Herrera prior to the latter's injury.

Sean Murphy C | ATL
Braves' Sean Murphy: Taking seat Tuesday
Murphy is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Cardinals.
After catching back-to-back games, Murphy will yield to Travis d'Arnaud behind the plate Tuesday. Murphy owns a .618 OPS with a 27.4 percent strikeout rate across 73 plate appearances.

Miguel Amaya C | CHC
Cubs' Miguel Amaya: Day off Monday
Amaya is not in the starting lineup Monday against the Giants.
Amaya will take a seat after he went 1-for-3 with a strikeout in Sunday's series finale versus the Mets. Tomas Nido will take over behind the plate and bat eighth in the opener versus San Francisco.

Pedro Pages C | STL
Cardinals' Pedro Pages: Returning to backup role
Pages is out of the lineup for Monday's game against Atlanta.
Pages briefly climbed to the top spot on the depth chart at catcher after Ivan Herrera (back) joined Willson Contreras (forearm) on the 10-day injured list Saturday, but Contreras was activated ahead of Monday's game and will slot in behind the plate for the series opener versus Atlanta. The Cardinals could manage Contreras' workload more carefully in his first week back with the team, but Pages will likely be headed for a stark downturn in playing time in any case. Pages had started each of the Cardinals' last four games and nine of the past 10.

Nick Raposo C | STL
Cardinals' Nick Raposo: Sent down to minors
The Cardinals optioned Raposo to Triple-A Memphis on Monday.
Raposo was up with the big club as depth at catcher after Ivan Herrera (back) joined Willson Contreras (forearm) on the injured list Saturday. However, with Contreras getting activated Monday, Raposo will head back to Memphis while Pedro Pages sticks around as the No. 2 backstop behind Contreras.

Willson Contreras C | STL
Cardinals' Willson Contreras: Returns from injured list
The Cardinals activated Contreras (forearm) from the 10-day injured list Monday. He'll start at catcher and bat third in the Cardinals' series opener versus Atlanta.
Contreras was initially expected to miss around 10 weeks after he suffered a fractured left forearm in early May, but he'll make it back from the IL in just six and a half weeks. The Cardinals could manage Contreras' workload carefully as he settles back in with the big club, but fantasy managers should feel free to activate ahead of this week's action. Contreras posted a .950 OPS with six home runs over 31 games before getting injured.

Luis Torrens C | NYM
Mets' Luis Torrens: Comes off paternity list
The Mets reinstated Torrens (personal) from the paternity list Monday.
Torrens was away from the Mets during their weekend series with the Cubs while he welcomed a new addition to his family. He'll be available Tuesday for the start of the Mets' two-game set with the Yankees and will assume duties as Francisco Alvarez's top backup behind the dish. Joe Hudson was designated for assignment to clear room on the active roster for Torrens.
