Narvaez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.

The lefty-hitting Narvaez will take a seat in the series finale versus Arizona southpaw Caleb Smith, allowing the righty-hitting Manny Pina to serve as Milwaukee's catcher.

Gomes (hamstring) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies.

Gomes' tight right hamstring will keep him on the bench for the fourth game in a row, but manager Dave Martinez said Sunday that the catcher's condition is improving, per Maria Torres of The Athletic. Alex Avila will get another turn behind the plate Sunday in his stead, but Gomes could be ready to catch Tuesday in Tampa Bay following the Nationals' off day Monday.

Barnes (ankle) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against Atlanta, but manager Dave Roberts said that 31-year-old will be available to catch the Dodgers' next two games if needed, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Los Angeles' decision not to bring up another catcher from the minors would seem to support the notion that the mild ankle sprain Barnes picked up in Saturday's game isn't anything that will cost him time. No. 1 catcher Will Smith will be back behind the plate for Sunday's series finale, but Barnes should be ready to contribute off the bench.

Stallings is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.

Stallings is getting some routine maintenance after catching each of the Pirates' last three games. Michael Perez will form a battery with starting pitcher Chad Kuhl in the series finale.

Jackson (hamstring) has appeared in nine games for Triple-A Gwinnett since beginning his rehab assignment May 21, going 7-for-30 (.233 average) with four home runs, 11 RBI and six runs.

Jackson appears to be healthy again after landing on the injured list May 2 with a left hamstring strain, but Atlanta may prefer to keep him on the rehab assignment as long as possible so he can play regularly at Triple-A. Once he's activated from the IL, Jackson would likely be in store for limited work behind No. 1 catcher William Contreras.

Stallings went 2-for-5 with an RBI, a run scored and a walk in Saturday's win over the Marlins.

Stallings was the hero for the Pirates, as he drove home the game-winning run in the 12th inning with an RBI single that scored Adam Frazier. The backstop extended his hitting streak to four games as well and has hit .255 with a .747 OPS in 13 games since May 15.

Barnes suffered a minor ankle sprain during Saturday's loss to Atlanta according to manager Dave Roberts, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Barnes was initially able to remain in the game, but did exit later in the contest as a result of a double switch that Roberts utilized for strategic purposes. Per Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register, Roberts said that Will Smith was slated to get the start behind the plate Sunday anyway, but that Barnes is expected to be available as a defensive replacement if needed.

Narvaez went 3-for-4 with a home run and three total runs scored in Saturday's 7-5 win over Arizona.

The catcher singled in the fourth and sixth innings, and scored both times. In the eighth, Narvaez added his sixth homer of the season. He's gone yard in each of the last two games while adding three RBI and six runs scored as he feasts on Arizona pitching. For the season, the 29-year-old is slashing a strong .317/.400/.516 across 145 plate appearances.

Nola (knee) isn't expected to return from the injured list until late June or early July, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Nola has gotten into just 18 games this season, as he missed most of April with a broken finger before spraining his knee in late May. The Padres previously said he needed a week or two before he's cleared to return, but it now looks like he'll need at least two or three. Victor Caratini is the primary catcher in his absence.

McCann will hit the bench Saturday against San Diego, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

McCann had been losing his grip on the starting role following a very poor start of the season at the plate, but he's shown signs of life over his last seven games, hitting .385 with three homers. He'll hit the bench after making three straight starts, with Tomas Nido taking over behind the plate.
