Realmuto was forced out of Wednesday's game against the Dodgers after taking a couple of foul tips to the mask, according to the game broadcast.

There's a decent chance he's being evaluated for a head injury. Since it happened in the top of the first inning, Realmuto won't even see an at-bat on his Wednesday ledger.

Stallings isn't in the lineup Wednesday against St. Louis, Kevin Gorman of TribLive.com reports.

Stallings started in each of the last two games and went 1-for-5 with a walk and a strikeout. Michael Perez will take over behind the dish and bat eighth.

D'Arnaud (thumb) was reinstated from the 60-day injured list Wednesday.

D'Arnaud's was unable to make his final rehab appearance at Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday since the game was postponed due to inclement weather, but he'll still make his expected return from the 60-day IL a day later. The 32-year-old appeared in six rehab games and went 4-for-17 with two runs, an RBI and two walks. He'll reclaim his job as Atlanta's primary catcher, while Kevan Smith was designated for assignment Wednesday.

D'Arnaud (thumb) was scheduled to make his finale rehab appearance Tuesday with Triple-A Gwinnett, but the game against the Durham Bulls was postponed due to inclement weather.

The 32-year-old was expected to rejoin Atlanta and be activated from the 60-day injured list Wednesday after making the final rehab outing Tuesday, and it remains to be seen how the postponement affects those plans. He's already appeared in six rehab games and went 4-for-17 with two walks, an RBI and two runs. Even if his return is delayed slightly, d'Arnaud should still rejoin the big-league roster by the end of the week.

Jackson is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Padres, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Jackson started the past three games and will receive the day off Tuesday. Sandy Leon will work behind the plate while Jorge Alfaro starts in left field.

Contreras will be on the bench for the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Brewers.

Contreras went 0-for-3 in the first half of the twin bill, dropping his batting average to .228. He unsurprisingly won't be asked to catch two games in one day, so he'll sit in favor of Robinson Chirinos for the nightcap.

Barrera is not in the starting lineup Tuesday against the Mets, Matt Weyrich of NBC Sports Washington reports.

Barrera has just one hit in his last 19 at-bats dating back to July 31. He'll sit for the second time in three games Tuesday as Riley Adams works behind the plate.

Barnhart will sit Tuesday against Atlanta.

Barnhart and Tyler Stephenson have been splitting time fairly evenly behind the plate for quite some time now. Stephenson will catch Sonny Gray on Tuesday, meaning both backstops have now made 12 starts behind the plate thus far in the second half.

Bart was placed on Triple-A Sacramento's 7-day injured list Saturday with a minor quadriceps strain, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports.

Bart, who has hit .276 with two home runs and nine RBI since the Giants sent him down July 12, isn't expected to miss much time with the injury. That being said, it's unclear exactly when he'll return to minor-league action.

D'Arnaud (thumb) is scheduled to make his final rehab appearance for Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday before rejoining Atlanta ahead of Wednesday's contest against the Reds, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.

D'Arnaud, who has gone 4-for-17 with a pair of walks through the first six games of his rehab assignment, will catch for rehabbing Atlanta pitcher Ian Anderson (shoulder) and is expected to play the full nine innings behind the dish. Assuming he incurs no setbacks with his surgically repaired left thumb, d'Arnaud will be reinstated from the 60-day injured list a day later. Even if he doesn't start for Atlanta on Wednesday, d'Arnaud should quickly displace Stephen Vogt as the team's No. 1 backstop as he returns from a three-plus-month absence. The addition of d'Arnaud should provide as shot in the arm to an Atlanta offense that will likely be missing Ronald Acuna (knee) and Marcell Ozuna (fingers) for the remainder of the season.
