Realmuto (wrist) is out of the lineup Sunday against the Blue Jays.

The 30-year-old was removed from Saturday's game with an injured left wrist, and it's not much of a surprise to see him sitting out Sunday's series finale. Realmuto will now have two consecutive days to recover thanks to Monday's scheduled off day. Andrew Knapp will take over behind the plate for Philadelphia.

Mejia (ribs) was activated from the 10-day injured list Sunday, Adam Berry of MLB.com reports.

Mejia reported significant improvement with his left intercostal strain and will end up returning after the minimum. Kevan Smith was designated for assignment. A top prospect in the Cleveland and San Diego systems, Mejia has failed to live up to that billing, but he's off to a great start this season (.300/.348/.450) and should slot back in to the No. 1 catcher role for Tampa Bay.

Vazquez is not in the lineup Sunday versus the Angels, Bill Koch of The Providence Journal reports.

Vazquez started the previous six games and will receive the day off for Sunday afternoon's series finale. Kevin Plawecki will step in behind the plate and bat eighth for Boston.

Stallings went 3-for-5 with a double, a home run and four RBI in Saturday's 8-6 win over the Giants.

After tying the score at 6-6 with a two-run double in the seventh inning, Stallings walked it off in the ninth with a two-run blast off Jake McGee. The catcher has put together a strong May so far, slashing .286/.359/.571 with two of his three homers on the year and seven RBI in 11 games.

Nola went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double and six RBI in Saturday's 13-3 win over St. Louis.

Nola crushed a three-run homer to right field in the third inning and plated another run with a double in the sixth. He finished his night with a two-run single in the seventh frame. Nola came into the contest batting just .167, but his productive performance pushed his season stat line to .241/.395/.414. The homer was his first of the campaign.

Realmuto is dealing with a left wrist injury and could be held out of the lineup Sunday against the Blue Jays, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

It's been a rough week for the 30-year-old, as he suffered a knee bruise when hit by a foul ball, battled a non-COVID-19 illness and is now contending with the wrist issue. Manager Joe Girardi said he's "not sure" about Realmuto playing Sunday.

Perez was removed from Saturday's win over the White Sox with groin tightness, Joel Goldberg of Bally Sports Kansas City reports.

The 31-year-old made his mark before exiting the contest, as he went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run Saturday. Perez was apparently already lobbying manager Mike Matheny to be in the lineup for Sunday's series finale, so the injury doesn't appear to be a serious concern.

Hedges is not in the lineup Saturday against the Mariners.

Hedges is 3-for-12 over his past four games and will receive a breather Saturday in Seattle. Rene Rivera will be the catcher for Triston McKenzie.

Grandal is not in Saturday's lineup against the Royals, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

The switch-hitting catcher receives a day off after struggling mightily Friday, striking out in each of his three at-bats. Walks have been the calling card for Grandal and his .373 on-base percentage, but he failed to draw a base on balls Friday. Zack Collins gets the start at catcher Saturday.

Stassi (concussion) has been throwing but has yet to be activated off the 7-day IL, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

A timeframe has yet to be given for Stassi's return, but he appears to be making progress from the concussion he suffered earlier in May. The backstop will likely resume his role as the team's primary catcher when he's ready to return.
