Grandal went 3-for-5 with a home run, double and four RBI in Tuesday's loss to the Astros.

The four RBI ties a season high for Grandal, who is hitting .310/.394/.621 through eight games this month. His .925 OPS on the season leads all National League catchers and slots him fourth among all catchers who have seen at least 100 plate appearances in 2019.

Stassi (knee) will start a rehab assignment with Triple-A Round Rock on Thursday, Jake Kaplan of The Athletic reports.

Stassi was moved to the 10-day injured list May 26 due to left knee soreness, and was subsequently shut down for a week and a half as a result. He's set to take a big step forward later in the week, though a timetable for his return remains murky.

Hedges (ankle) is catching and batting eighth Tuesday against the Giants.

Hedges was held out of the last two contests due to a left ankle sprain, but he'll be back in action following Monday's scheduled off day. He's hitting just .167 with an RBI and eight strikeouts through six games in June.

D'Arnaud has been working out at first base and the corner outfield positions in recent days, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

D'Arnaud's career .242/.304/.404 slash line doesn't exactly make him seem like the type of catcher who warrant at-bats elsewhere in order to keep his bat in the lineup, but he's evidently impressed the Rays. His .259/.323/.481 slash line through his first 18 games with the team certainly isn't hurting his case, and the team elected to keep him on the roster even after Michael Perez returned from his oblique injury.

Narvaez is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Twins, Shannon Drayer of 710 ESPN Seattle reports.

Sanchez went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer as the Yankees beat the Mets 12-5 in the first game of a doubleheader Tuesday.

Sanchez completed the scoring with his two-run shot to left field in the eighth inning off Tim Peterson. He also drove in the Yankees' second run with an RBI single in the third. The 26-year-old has now blasted eight homers in his last 17 games and has raised his slash line to .264/.335/635 for the year with 40 RBI in 178 at-bats.

Garver will be on the bench Tuesday against Seattle.

Garver owns a strong .835 OPS over his last nine games, though that qualifies as a cold streak during a season in which he's hit a remarkable .317/.410/.693. Jason Castro gets the start behind the plate.

Diaz isn't in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Braves.

Diaz will head to the bench after drawing four consecutive starts behind the dish. Jacob Stallings is set to handle the catching duties and hit eighth with Diaz out of the lineup.

Knizner was optioned to Triple-A Memphis on Tuesday.

Knizner went 0-for-7 over two games, so he'll return to the minor leagues still in search of his first big-league hit. Yadier Molina (thumb) was activated from the injured list in a corresponding move.

Vazquez is back behind the plate Tuesday against Texas, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.

Vazquez had only caught one of the last five games, though he'd also appeared twice as a designated hitter. He owns a poor .196/.237/.304 slash line over his last 18 games.
