The Orioles added Wynns to the lineup Sunday against the Marlins after scratching Chance Sisco (undisclosed).

More clarity on the nature of Sisco's absence should come soon, but it paves the way for Wynns to make his fourth start behind the plate in five games. Wynns, who has opened his MLB career with four hits in 18 at-bats, looks to be stuck in the short side of a platoon behind the plate unless Sisco is forced to miss time.

Wynns is out of the lineup Sunday against the Marlins, Eduardo A. Encina of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Wynns will head to the bench after starting three of the last four games behind the plate. Considering that each of those assignments came against left-handed starting pitchers, Wynns probably hasn't unseated Chance Sisco as the Orioles' top catcher and is likely still stuck in the short side of a platoon.

Contreras went 2-for-4 with an RBI in Saturday's win over the Cardinals.

In 12 games this month, Contreras is batting a solid .308 with a .400 on-base percentage. However, he has just one extra-base hit and no home runs so far in June. If the young catcher keeps making good contact at the plate, expect those numbers to climb as the month progresses.

Barnhart is out of the lineup Sunday against the Pirates, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.

It's little more than a routine maintenance day for Barnhart after he was behind the plate for the first two games of the series. Curt Casali will serve as the Reds' catcher Sunday and bat seventh in the lineup.

Trevino started Saturday and went 1-for-3 with with an RBI single in a 5-2 win over the Rockies.

This was Trevino's first start in the majors, and it was memorable. He delivered a game-tying single in the seventh inning to help the Rangers end a seven-game losing streak. As important as the hit was his guidance of starter Mike Minor through seven strong innings. Trevino was called up this week from Double-A Frisco as insurance while Robinson Chirinos served a one-game suspension. He was pressed into duty Friday, making his MLB debut when Carlos Perez sustained an injury to his right ankle. Perez has since been placed on the disabled list, so Trevino is now the backup to Chirinos.

Stassi went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer in Saturday's win over the Royals.

Stassi's sixth-inning homer off Danny Duffy busted the game open, putting the Astros up 7-2 while helping chase the southpaw. The backup catcher has now collected at least one hit in four straight games and is batting a solid .264/.336/.512 with seven homers through 40 games this season. If Stassi continues to produce in his limited opportunities, he could start to carve out a bigger role for himself at the expense of starter Brian McCann, who is hitting just .209/.299/.349 this season.

Diaz went 1-for-4 with a solo homer in Saturday's win over the Reds.

Diaz took Luis Castillo deep in the fourth inning to put the Pirates up 3-1, marking his second home run of the month and fifth of season. While Francisco Cervelli is locked in as the team's primary backstop, Diaz continues to produce in his limited opportunities, posting a .304/.350/.500 line through 34 games.

Realmuto went 3-for-4 with two homers and four RBI in Saturday's win over the Orioles.

Realmuto tormented Orioles starter Alex Cobb, producing an RBI single off the right-hander in the first inning before taking Cobb deep in the third (two-run) and sixth (solo) innings. The 27-year-old is now hitting an impressive .309/.371/.546 with nine homers, 26 RBI and 32 runs on the season, putting him near the top of every major hitting category among catchers.

Grandal is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Giants.

Grandal is only 7-for-38 since the start of June and will head to the bench as San Francisco sends Madison Bumgarner to the mound Saturday. Austin Barnes will start behind the plate and bat eighth for the Dodgers.

Perez was placed on the 10-day disabled list with a right ankle sprain Saturday.

Perez suffered the injury during Friday's game against the Rockies. Jose Trevino will be the Rangers' backup catcher in Perez's absence.
