Maldonado is out of the lineup Sunday against the Royals, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

It's a routine day off for Maldonado after the veteran backstop was behind the plate for the previous three games. Juan Graterol will serve as the Angels' catcher in the series finale.

Gomes is out of the lineup Sunday against the Twins, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.

Gomes will cede catching duties to Roberto Perez in the series finale. With six hits in 27 at-bats over eight games, Gomes has gotten off to a rather rough start to June but still appears poised to see the bulk of the starts behind the dish.

Contreras is batting third in the lineup during Sunday's game against the Pirates.

Kris Bryant has been occupying the third spot in the order with Anthony Rizzo leading off over the previous four games. With Bryant getting the day off Sunday, Contreras will move up to fill the void in the heart of the order. Though this shift is only temporary, Contreras is positioned to potentially provide solid DFS value against Jameson Taillon and the Pirates on Sunday.

Hedges is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Brewers.

Hedges, who has gone 1-for-8 over the first two games of the series against the Brewers, will be relegated to the bench for a scheduled day of rest. Luis Torrens will fill in behind the plate.

Mesoraco is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers.

Mesoraco continues to take about two days off per week and will head to the bench in favor of Tucker Barnhart. Mesoraco is slashing .238/.347/.524 over his first 84 at-bats this year.

Realmuto is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Braves.

Realmuto has started the Marlins' previous five contests, so manager Don Mattingly will give the 26-year-old the day off ahead of the series finale against Mike Foltynewicz and the Braves. A.J. Ellis will take his place behind the plate.

Grandal is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.

Grandal has been in a bit of a funk at the plate recently, with just two hits and six strikeouts in his previous 17 at-bats. He'll get the day off with Austin Barnes filling in behind the plate.

Narvaez is out of the lineup Sunday against the Blue Jays, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Manager Rick Renteria continues to deploy a timeshare at catcher with Narvaez and Kevan Smith, but Narvaez seems to have moved ahead in the pecking order, at least temporarily. Though he'll rest Sunday, Narvaez had been behind the plate in four of the previous five games, collecting three hits during that span. Even if he ends up taking on a greater number of starts at catcher, Narvaez's lack of offense doesn't make him much of a consideration outside of AL-only and deeper mixed leagues that start two catchers.

Stallings was optioned to Triple-A Indianapolis on Sunday, Adam Berry of MLB.com reports.

With Francisco Cervelli and Chris Stewart recently being sidelined by injuries, Stallings received the promotion to the big leagues June 7. He went 2-for-7 in his limited action but will now return to the minor leagues with Stewart set to come off the disabled list Sunday.

Stewart (hamstring) was activated from the 10-day disabled list Sunday, Adam Berry of MLB.com reports.

Stewart had been sidelined since May 30 with a strained left hamstring but was recently able to aggressively run the bases, which was his final hurdle before returning to live action. He'll slot back in as the reserve catcher behind Francisco Cervelli.
