Ben Rortvedt C | NYM
Rays' Ben Rortvedt: Big day in rout
Rortvedt went 3-for-5 with a double, a three-run home run and a second run scored in Friday's 10-3 win over the Pirates.
The backstop put the finishing touches on Tampa Bay's rout by taking Daulton Jefferies deep in the ninth inning. Rortvedt only has two homers on the year, but both have come in his last four games as part of an impressive June that has seen him slash .314/.368/.571 in 38 plate appearances. His strong-side platoon role limits his fantasy upside, but the 26-year-old appears to be on his way to a career-best campaign.

Connor Wong C | BOS
Red Sox's Connor Wong: Homers in loss
Wong went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 5-2 loss to Cincinnati.
Wong belted a solo home run in the second inning, his sixth of the season, and extended a hitting streak to 11 games (15-for-39). He's batting .335/.397/.471 for the season. There's no dramatic changes in his contact metrics to explain his breakout, and the BABIP (.395) warning signs are still there, but Wong has managed to avoid regression so far.

Luke Maile C | KC
Reds' Luke Maile: Doubles, scores insurance run
Maile went 1-for-3 with a walk, a double and a run scored in Friday's 5-2 win over Boston.
Maile got the start in place of Tyler Stephenson (undisclosed) and scored an insurance run in the seventh inning. After Santiago Espinal reached on an error, Maile's double put runners on second and third, setting up TJ Friedl's sacrifice bunt. Red Sox pitcher Cam Booser's hurried throw home to nail Espinal went past Connor Wong and allowed Maile to score from second. It's unclear how much time Stephenson needs, but the Reds called up catcher Austin Wynns from Triple-A Louisville on Friday. Maile should be the primary starter for as long as Stephenson is unavailable.

Adley Rutschman C | BAL
Orioles' Adley Rutschman: Perfect day at dish
Rutschman went 5-for-5 with a double and two runs scored in Friday's loss to Houston.
Rutschman was a thorn in the side for Houston pitching all night but wasn't able to drive in any runs. His lone extra-base hit came during Baltimore's seven-run eighth inning right after a Gunnar Henderson homer. Rutschman fell into a small eight-game slump, going 4-for-30 (.133) during that span, but has since gone 8-for-10 with two walks and five runs scored over his last two games. He's slashing .305/.352/.485 with 53 RBI and 41 runs scored through 71 games.

Shea Langeliers C | ATH
Athletics' Shea Langeliers: Swats go-ahead homer
Langeliers went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional RBI in Friday's 6-5 win over the Twins.
Langeliers took Jhoan Duran deep in the eighth inning, giving the Athletics the lead for good. This was Langeliers' 14th homer of the year, though he's gone deep just twice over 16 games in June while batting .196 (11-for-56). The catcher is at a .207/.265/.445 slash line across 249 plate appearances this season, and he's added 39 RBI, 24 runs scored and two stolen bases.

Gabriel Moreno C | ARI
Diamondbacks' Gabriel Moreno: X-rays come back clean
X-rays came back negative on Moreno's thumb following Friday's game against the Phillies, Jody Jackson of Bally Sports Arizona reports.
Moreno hurt his thumb on a slide early in Friday's contest but remained in the game long enough to tally his third homer of the season. He was ultimately pulled in the sixth inning. Manager Torey Lovullo noted after the contest that Moreno is likely to avoid the injured list, but the team will see how he is feeling Saturday before any final determination is made.

Carson Kelly C | CHC
Tigers' Carson Kelly: Homers in win
Kelly went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in a 2-1 win over the White Sox on Friday.
Kelly's long ball off Erick Fedde in the second inning was the difference in the game. The homer was Kelly's second in four starts, and he has registered a solid .267/.353/.500 slash line in nine June contests. On the season, Kelly is slashing .238/.324/.373 with four home runs and 17 RBI over 142 plate appearances.

Gabriel Moreno C | ARI
Diamondbacks' Gabriel Moreno: Leaves game with sprained thumb
Moreno exited Friday's game against the Phillies due to a sprained left thumb.
Tucker Barnhart replaced Moreno behind home plate for the bottom of the sixth inning. Before exiting, Moreno went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run. Arizona should offer some clarity on the severity of Moreno's injury following Friday's contest.
