The Giants optioned Reetz to Triple-A Sacramento on Wednesday, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports.

The 28-year-old was called up Monday after being demoted over the weekend, and he'll head back to Triple-A as veteran Curt Casali inked a major-league contract with the Giants. Reetz will continue to serve as organizational catching depth with Sacramento.

The Giants transferred Murphy (knee) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Wednesday, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports.

Murphy was given a 4-to-6-week recovery timeline when he landed on the injured list May 5 due to a sprained left knee. However, his move to the 60-day IL will make him ineligible to return until July 4. The Giants signed Curt Casali on Wednesday to fill Murphy's spot on the 40-man roster and provide emergency catcher depth with Patrick Bailey (concussion) also out.

Contreras went 3-for-5 with a home run, a triple and four total RBI in Wednesday's 10-2 win over the Pirates.

Contreras got Milwaukee on the board with a three-run, opposite-field blast off Martin Perez in the third inning before tacking on a fourth RBI with a triple in the sixth, his first three-bagger this season. While Contreras had gone 18 games without a home run, he's now recorded at least one hit in nine straight contests, going 17-for-36 (.472) in that span. The 26-year-old catcher is now slashing a robust .359/.434/.553 with six homers, 34 RBI, 39 runs scored and three stolen bases through 196 plate appearances this season.

Casali signed a one-year contract with the Giants on Wednesday, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports.

Casali has spent all season with the Cubs' Triple-A affiliate, where he slashed .362/.489/.551 with 11 RBI across 88 plate appearances. He'll now return to San Francisco on a big-league contract to give the Giants depth behind the plate while Patrick Bailey (concussion) and Tom Murphy (knee) are sidelined. Blake Sabol will likely remain the primary option to start at catcher, though Casali could get the nod whenever the Giants are matched up against a left-handed starter.

Rutschman went 2-for-4 with a walk and a two-run homer in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Blue Jays.

After Jordan Westburg led off the ninth with an infield hit, Rustchman launched a deep fly ball off Jordan Romano that just cleared the right-field fence, giving the Orioles a 3-2 walk-off victory. Rutschman's now homered in three straight games, totaling four long balls in that span. The 26-year-old backstop is slashing .314/.350/.509 with nine homers, 27 RBI and 24 runs scored through his first 40 games this season.

Naylor is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rangers.

Naylor will rest Wednesday after he was behind the plate for the first two games of the series, going 1-for-8 with a double, two RBI and a run scored between those contests. He'll cede catching duties to Austin Hedges in the series finale.

Wells is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Twins.

With a .954 OPS in 11 games dating back to April 24, Wells is beginning to earn himself a larger portion of the work behind the plate, but he'll still be part of a timeshare with Jose Trevino. The Yankees will turn to Trevino to handle catching duties in Wednesday's contest, but expect Wells to return to the lineup for Thursday's series finale.

Amaya is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against Atlanta, Maddie Lee of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Amaya will get a breather after he started at catcher in each of the past three games while going 1-for-9 at the dish. Yan Gomes will fill in for Amaya in Wednesday's series finale.

Jackson is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game in Boston.

Jackson had started at catcher in five of the past six games, but he went hitless with 11 strikeouts and one walk across 14 plate appearances during that stretch. Despite his hefty workload of late, Jackson still looks to be the No. 2 option at catcher behind Ben Rortvedt, who is back in the lineup Wednesday.

Stubbs is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mets.

While J.T. Realmuto managed a sore knee, Stubbs started behind the plate in each of the past three games, going 1-for-12 with a stolen base. Realmuto is back in the lineup at catcher Wednesday, and provided he doesn't experience any setbacks with his knee, he should take on a hefty workload moving forward. Prior to Realmuto's recent absence, Stubbs had started in just six of the Phillies' first 40 games of the season.
