Heston Kjerstad DH | BAL
Orioles' Heston Kjerstad: Set for Tuesday promotion
Kjerstad is expected to be recalled from Triple-A Norfolk on Tuesday, Jacob Calvin Meyer of The Baltimore Sun reports.
Kjerstad could have difficulty seeing consistent playing time on a talented Baltimore roster, but he figures to get chances in the DH slot as well as in the corner outfield spots when his name is listed on the lineup card. Kjerstad has been mashing with the Tides, slashing .349/.431/.744 with 10 home runs, 30 RBI, one stolen base and 25 runs in 86 at-bats.

Gavin Sheets RF | SD
White Sox's Gavin Sheets: Tossed in eighth inning
Sheets was ejected for arguing balls and strikes in the top half of the eighth inning Monday against the Twins, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Sheets was unhappy with a called strike three and let the umpire know about it before exiting for the clubhouse. The 28-year-old went 1-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts prior to getting ejected.

Jair Camargo C | MIN
Twins' Jair Camargo: Sent back to minors
The Twins optioned Camargo to Triple-A St. Paul on Monday.
Camargo operated as the Twins' third catcher for a bit, which enabled Ryan Jeffers to see more work as a designated hitter. However, with Max Kepler (knee) returning from the 10-day injured list Monday, Camargo was deemed an expendable piece and will now head back to Triple-A to play regularly.

Eloy Jimenez DH | TB
White Sox's Eloy Jimenez: Tallies first homer
Jimenez went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run Sunday against the Phillies.
Jimenez tallied his first RBI of the season Saturday and then proceeded to smack his first home run of the campaign in the opening frame of Sunday's contest. He has been sidelined for much of the season by an adductor injury but is showing signs of getting on track at the plate for the first time.

Brent Rooker DH | ATH
Athletics' Brent Rooker: Goes yard again
Rooker went 1-for-4 with a solo home run during Sunday's 6-2 loss to the Guardians.
Rooker homered for the second time in three games since returning from the 10-day IL due to a rib injury. He's swatted four home runs this season -- each coming in his last six games. On the year, Rooker is slashing .205/.244/.538 with a 51.2 percent strikeout rate.

Mitch Garver C | SEA
Mariners' Mitch Garver: On bench for Game 2
Garver is not in the starting lineup for Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader in Colorado.
Garver will take a seat after he went 0-for-4 with two punchouts in the team's 2-1 extra-inning Game 1 loss Sunday. Cal Raleigh will slot in at designated hitter while Seby Zavala enters the lineup at catcher and bats ninth in the nightcap.

Mitch Garver C | SEA
Mariners' Mitch Garver: On base thrice in win
Garver went 1-for-3 with two walks and a run in a win over the Rockies on Saturday.
Garver's three trips on the basepaths helped pushed his on-base percentage over the .300 mark (.308), a number that particularly stands out when considering it sits between a .170 average and .283 slugging percentage on his slash line. The veteran has managed to reach safely in seven straight games, however, and when his .222 BABIP eventually normalizes some, the other two figures should see some appreciable boosts.

Abraham Toro 1B | BOS
Athletics' Abraham Toro: First triple since '22
Toro went 1-for-4 with a triple in a loss to the Guardians on Saturday.
The three-bagger not only extended Toro's modest hitting streak to three games, it also served as his first such hit since June 2, 2022 while with the Mariners. Toro has now started 12 consecutive games at either third base or designated hitter, and while his .254/.323/.424 slash line is solid but not remarkable, it passes for one of the better ones on a struggling Oakland offense.

Miguel Sano 3B | LAA
Angels' Miguel Sano: First MLB homer in over two years
Sano went 3-for-4 with an RBI double and a two-run home run in Saturday's 7-5 loss to the Reds.
The long ball off Graham Ashcraft in the sixth inning was Sano's first in the big leagues since April 15, 2022. Sano missed the better part of two years after undergoing surgery on his left knee, and he got off to a slow start with the Angels this season, but he's suddenly up to an .808 OPS. He could see more time at third base in the short term after Anthony Rendon left Saturday's game with a hamstring injury.

Eloy Jimenez DH | TB
White Sox's Eloy Jimenez: First RBI of season
Jimenez went 2-for-5 with an RBI on Saturday against the Phillies.
Jimenez entered Saturday's game having gone 0-for-10 with three strikeouts and three walks since being activated from the injured list Monday. He delivered a pair of singles against the Phillies, with the latter driving in a run during a ninth-inning rally to mark his first RBI of the campaign. Jimenez is off to a miserable start through 29 plate appearances this season, as he has yet to record an extra-base hit and has only one run scored while hitting .154.
