Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run Tuesday against the Marlins.

Ramirez has started nine of the Rays' last 10 games, though he had only one extra-base hit in that span entering Tuesday. That changed when he slugged his first homer of the season in the second inning, though Ramirez still has just a .082 ISO across 105 plate appearances. He has found other ways to produce by maintaining a .289 batting average with 12 runs scored, and Ramirez should remain in the lineup so long as both Manuel Margot (hamstring) and Brandon Lowe (back) are sidelined.

Martinez went 4-for-5 with a double, three runs, an RBI and a walk in Tuesday's 16-3 win over the White Sox.

Following a two-game absence with back spasms, Martinez returned in spectacular fashion Tuesday. He walked and scored in the first inning before later adding three hits -- including a double -- while scoring twice more and driving in a run. Martinez now has two four-hit efforts in his last four contests, going a ridiculous 11-for-17 with three doubles, eight runs and an RBI in those contests. After batting a respectable .278 over 54 at-bats in April, the 34-year-old has been red-hot in May, producing a .425 average with 12 extra-base hits, 16 runs and 13 RBI in 80 at-bats during the month.

Choi went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a double during Tuesday's 4-1 win against Miami.

Choi's last long ball came during the second week of the season, but he went deep during the sixth inning Tuesday to end the 20-game drought. Despite the lack of early power this season, the 31-year-old still has a strong .282/.380/.471 slash line to go with 19 RBI and 10 runs in 27 games.

Stanton (calf) is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Wednesday, Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports.

The 32-year-old exited Tuesday's matchup with the Orioles due to tightness in his right calf. Stanton seems unlikely to be available for Wednesday's series finale after undergoing the MRI, but he could avoid a trip to the injured list if the imaging results are encouraging.

Stanton was removed from Tuesday's game against the Orioles with right calf tightness, Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports.

Stanton went 0-for-2 with a strikeout before being replaced by a pinch hitter during the seventh inning. The severity of the injury remains unclear, and the veteran slugger should be considered day-to-day until his status is updated.

Lewis (knee) was activated off the injured list Tuesday and will bat seventh and serve as the designated hitter against Oakland, Larry Stone of the Seattle Times reports.

The Mariners brought Lewis along cautiously as he finished his recovery from knee surgery, a procedure he underwent in June of last year, but he's ready to go after hitting .314/.415/.629 with three homers in 10 rehab games for Triple-A Tacoma. Expect him to appear frequently as the designated hitter early on to protect his health, though he could eventually find most of his work in an outfield corner, as Jesse Winker doesn't offer much on the defensive side.

White Sox general manager Rick Hahn said Tuesday that he expects Jimenez (hamstring) to begin a rehab assignment within the next week, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

Hahn's comments came after Jimenez took live batting practice Tuesday against rehabbing starting pitcher Lance Lynn (knee), who is also expected to report to the minors for game action within a week. Before the White Sox map out a rehab schedule for Jimenez, he may still need to prove that his surgically repaired right hamstring doesn't inhibit him in the field or while he runs the bases. Whenever he's deemed ready to return from the injured list, Jimenez may see most of his starts as a designated hitter as the White Sox aim to preserve his health.

Martinez (back) will return to the lineup Tuesday against the White Sox, batting third while serving as the designated hitter, Bruce Levine of 670TheScore.com reports.

Martinez was scratched Sunday against Seattle due to back spasms, but the issue was evidently fairly minor, as he's good to go following Monday's scheduled off day. That's great news for the Red Sox, as Martinez is off to an excellent start at the plate this season, hitting .349/.390/.581.

Collins was optioned to Triple-A Buffalo on Monday.

He was in a three-way committee at catcher with the big-league club, but he had been losing playing time since Danny Jansen returned from the injured list May 14. Across 69 plate appearances, Collins hit .194/.275/.387 with 40.6 percent strikeout rate. Julian Merryweather was recalled in the corresponding move.

Lewis (knee) won't join the team Monday as previously reported but is expected to arrive Tuesday, Corey Brock of The Athletic reports.

The Mariners have been very careful with Lewis' rehabilitation, bringing him along slowly as he completes the final stages of his recovery from the right knee surgery he underwent last June. He'll be back one day later than previously reported, but it doesn't appear as though that's due to any sort of setback. He should play regularly once active, featuring frequently at the designated hitter spot to ease the strain on his knee.
