Rafael Devers 3B | SF
Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Continues to rack up RBI in May
Devers went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a walk in Friday's 5-1 win over Atlanta.
Devers posted a pair of RBI for the second game in a row, and he's now up to 11 multi-hit efforts in May. Over 100 at-bats this month, the 28-year-old designated hitter is batting .370 with seven homers, five doubles and a whopping 33 RBI. Devers also has 22 walks in May, and he's thriving as Boston's full-time DH this season.

Jorge Soler DH | LAA
Angels' Jorge Soler: Smacks homer in victory
Soler went 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored, two RBI and a walk in Friday's 4-1 victory over the Angels.
Soler has now had multiple hits in back-to-back games, including his eighth home run of the season Friday. The run production has really picked up in the last week or so for the 33-year-old, who is now up to 23 RBI on the season with seven of them coming in his last eight games.

Yordan Alvarez DH | HOU
Astros' Yordan Alvarez: Not ready Friday
Alvarez (hand) is not in Friday's lineup against the Rays.
Despite a ballyhooed batting practice session ahead of Friday's contest, it doesn't appear Alvarez will be activated Friday. Zach Dezenzo is starting at designated hitter and batting eighth.

Yordan Alvarez DH | HOU
Astros' Yordan Alvarez: Strong BP on Friday
Alvarez (hand) homered to conclude his live batting practice session ahead of Friday's game against the Rays, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.
Alvarez is eligible for activation and we're awaiting the Astros lineup for Friday, but multiple Astros beat writers commented about Alvarez's home run to conclude live BP. Rome noted that Mauricio Dubon and Jose Altuve got up as if to say they'd seen enough, following Alvarez's home run, so it's possible he's activated Friday at designated hitter.

Anthony Santander RF | TOR
Blue Jays' Anthony Santander: Out with shoulder inflammation
The Blue Jays placed Santander on the 10-day injured list Friday due to left shoulder inflammation.
The veteran outfielder has gone 0-for-17 with three walks and seven strikeouts in his past five games, and he'll now be sidelined for at least the next 10 days. Santander has been playing through hip and shoulder issues for most of May, and it's his shoulder that ended up sending him to the IL. Alan Roden was called up from Triple-A Buffalo in a corresponding move. Santander may get a cortisone shot in the coming days, per Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca.

Yandy Diaz 1B | TB
Rays' Yandy Diaz: Doubles, drives in two in rout
Diaz went 2-for-5 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in Thursday's 13-3 win over the Astros.
It was Diaz's first multi-hit game since May 21, as it's been a relatively quiet stretch for him at the plate in terms of batting average. Across his last 11 contests, the veteran corner infielder is batting just .234 with one homer, three doubles, 10 RBI and five runs scored. Diaz does have four multi-RBI efforts and multi-hit games during this period, however.

Ben Rice C | NYY
Yankees' Ben Rice: Goes deep Tuesday
Rice went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a 3-2 win against the Angels on Tuesday.
There wasn't much offense in the game, so Rice's 423-foot solo blast in the fourth inning was quite important in what turned out to be a one-run New York victory. The long ball was the 11th of the season for Rice, but just his third so far in May after he went deep seven times in April. Rice is still getting consistent starts -- he's been in the lineup for four of the Yankees' past five games -- but could begin to see a drop in playing time when Giancarlo Stanton (elbows), who is tracking toward an early-to-mid-June return, is activated off the injured list.

Jorge Polanco 2B | NYM
Mariners' Jorge Polanco: Not starting Tuesday
Polanco is not in the Mariners' starting lineup against the Nationals on Tuesday.
Polanco has been dealing with a sore side for most of the season, which has made it uncomfortable batting as a right-hander. With southpaw Mitchell Parker taking the mound for the Nationals, Polanco will begin Tuesday's game on the bench while Mitch Garver serves as the designated hitter and bats fifth. Polanco has slashed .155/.234/.241 with one home run and five RBI in 64 plate appearances since the beginning of May.
