Buxton went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer against Cleveland on Saturday.

Buxton took Zach Plesac deep in the fourth inning for his eighth home run of the season. The performance continued his recent power surge, as Buxton now has three long balls in his past four starts, including a pair in the team's weekend series against Cleveland. Despite rarely drawing a walk, Buxton has put together a decent .247/.250/.527 line to go along with 13 runs scored and 19 RBI across 96 plate appearances this season.

Rooker will miss the rest of the 2020 season after suffering a fractured right forearm Saturday against the Indians, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

The 25-year-old sustained a displaced fracture of his right forearm when he was hit by a pitch during Saturday's contest, an injury which will be addressed via surgery. Rooker joined the Twins last week and went 6-for-19 with one home run, two doubles, four runs and five RBIs over seven games in his first taste of major-league ball.

Rooker left Saturday's game against the Indians in the fourth inning with a right forearm injury after being hit by a pitch, Jesse Dougherty of The Washington Post reports.

Rooker got hit near his right elbow and was able to walk toward first base but later left the game. Jake Cave replaced him in right field.

Choi was removed from Saturday's game against the Red Sox with a left hamstring strain, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

The 29-year-old appeared to suffer the injury during the fourth inning when he scored from second base on a single. The severity of the injury remains unclear, but Choi seems likely to be sidelined for at least a few days.

Ohtani is not starting Saturday against lefty Kyle Freeland and the Rockies, Maria Torres of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Ohtani hits the bench for the second time in the last three games, though he's sat quite frequently against lefties this season, so it's not particularly surprising to see him on the bench here. It's been a very disappointing year at the plate for the 26-year-old, who's hitting just .189/.287/.348 in 150 plate appearances. Albert Pujols will serve as the designated hitter Saturday.

Jimenez went 2-for-4 with a home run in Friday's 4-3 win over the Tigers.

Jimenez bailed out the White Sox, who were down 3-0 and being no-hit entering the bottom of the sixth inning. The American League's best offense scratched out a run before Jimenez launched a three-run homer, and three relievers closed out the win. The blast was Jimenez's 12th, though just his first in his last 12 games.

Cabrera went 1-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in a 4-3 loss to the White Sox on Friday.

Cabrera got on base twice and was able to rack up a rare stolen base on a sixth-inning wild pitch by Lucas Giolito. The 37-year-old is hitting .241/.322/.354 with five home runs and 22 RBI as the team's designated hitter this season.

Buxton went 1-for-3 with a home run, two RBI and a run scored Friday as he helped the Twins to a 3-1 lead over the Indians.

Buxton took advantage of a hanging slider from Shane Bieber for a 2-run homer in the second to give the Twins an early 2-0 lead. The speedy outfielder is hitting .244/.247/.500 with seven home runs and 17 RBI across 90 at-bats this season.

Canha went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, a stolen base and a run in a win over the Astros on Thursday.

It was one of Canha's more productive outings in quite some time, as the veteran had been mired in a 1-for-20 eight-game stretch before also lacing a two-bagger in Wednesday's contest. The quick 3-for-8 surge is modest, but it offers fantasy managers some solace after the aforementioned dry spell. Despite recent struggles, Canha still sports an elite .395 on-base percentage thanks in large part to his career-high 15.1 percent walk rate.

Martinez is not in the lineup Friday against the Rays, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

Martinez is 0-for-16 with seven strikeouts and one walk over the past four games, so he'll take a seat for Friday's contest. Kevin Plawecki (hand) will bat fifth as the designated hitter in Tampa Bay.
