Vientos is out of the starting lineup again Thursday versus the Cubs.

Vientos has now started only four of a possible eight games since his May 17 promotion from Triple-A Syracuse. Daniel Vogelbach will handle DH duties and bat seventh Thursday against the Cubs and right-hander Kyle Hendricks. Brett Baty is at third base and batting fifth.

Blackmon is not in the lineup Thursday against the Marlins.

Blackmon tripled, drew a walk and scored a run in Wednesday night's loss to Miami. Elias Diaz will get a turn as the DH and bat third with left-hander Braxton Garrett on the mound for the Marlins in Thursday's matinee. Austin Wynns is catching and hitting ninth.

Ozuna went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in a 4-3 win against the Dodgers on Wednesday.

With the score tied 1-1 in the bottom of the fifth inning, Ozuna launched a monstrous 452-foot, two-run shot to center field. It was his ninth long ball of the season, seven of which have come since May 3. After hitting a miserable .085 though the end of April, Ozuna has turned things around with a huge month of May during which he is batting .328 (21-for-64) with seven homers, 18 RBI and 12 runs scored through 17 contests.

Soler went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two total runs scored in Wednesday's 10-2 win over the Rockies.

Soler crushed a fastball 445 feet in the seventh inning to give him three homers in the last four games. The 31-year-old is tied for third in the big leagues in homers with 14. Soler already has more home runs than he did in 72 games last season and could top 40 homers for the second time in his career. May has treated Soler well, as he has a .631 slugging percentage this month and is up to an .872 OPS for the season.

Vogelbach is starting at designated hitter and batting seventh Wednesday versus the Cubs, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

It's just his third start in seven contests since Mark Vientos was promoted from Triple-A Syracuse. Vogelbach has collected just two hits over his last 19 at-bats and appears to have been supplanted as the Mets' primary DH versus right-handed pitching.

Vientos is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cubs, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

Vientos has now started four games and been on the bench three times since his promotion a week ago. All three times he's been out of the lineup have been against righties, and Daniel Vogelbach has been the designated hitter in each case as he will be Wednesday.

Lewis (illness) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Reno on Tuesday and went 2-for-6 with a home run, three RBI and an additional run.

Lewis served as Reno's designated hitter and made six trips to the plate in his first official game action at any level since April 7. Due to the length of his absence on account of the undisclosed illness, Lewis will almost certainly remain on assignment with Reno through the weekend, and it's possible that his stay on the 10-day injured list could bleed into the upcoming week. Lewis has two minor-league options remaining, and since he doesn't project to hold anything more than a short-side platoon role for the big club, the Diamondbacks could choose to keep him at Reno once he's activated.

Martinez went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run Tuesday in an 8-1 win against Atlanta.

With the Dodgers up 5-1 in the ninth, Martinez provided the knockout punch with a three-run shot off Michael Tonkin. The homer was the third in the past two contests for Martinez and extended his hitting streak to eight games. Over that stretch, the veteran slugger is slashing .314/.324/.714 with four home runs and 12 RBI.

Soler went 2-for-5 with a home run, a double and two RBI in Tuesday's 5-4 loss to the Rockies.

Soler got the Marlins on the board with a first-inning solo shot and added an RBI double as they tried to rally in the ninth, but it ultimately wasn't enough. The homer was his fourth in the last eight games. Soler's up to 13 long balls, 10 doubles, 29 RBI, 25 runs scored and a .246/.323/.526 slash line through 47 contests.

Morel went 1-for-3 with a walk, a solo home run and two runs scored in Tuesday's win over the Mets.

Morel continued his incredible power surge, as he now has nine home runs in just 12 games this season. While this level of production has been unexpected, the youngster did record 16 home runs in 113 games as a rookie last year, so this isn't completely out of thin air. Morel is highly unlikely to keep this pace up, but he could be a strong fantasy contributor the rest of the way.
