Turner was hit by a pitch during Saturday's win over the Rockies and could receive the day off Sunday due to a sore hamstring, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.

The veteran third baseman never exited the contest and finished 0-for-1 with a run scored and two walks, so even if he does sit Sunday, it appears to be a minor issue. Turner could also serve as the designated hitter, but a day off would also make sense given he's started the past five games.

Brantley (quadriceps) was activated off the 10-day injured list Saturday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

The 33-year-old won't be in the lineup for Saturday's contest, but he'll nonetheless rejoin the active roster after recovering from the quad injury. It previously seemed Brantley was still a couple days away from being activated, and it's unclear if he'll be eased into his regular workload or if he's fully good to go. Josh James (hip) was placed on the injured list in a corresponding move.

Brantley (quadriceps) is not in the starting lineup Saturday against the Padres, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Manager Dusty Baker said Friday that he wasn't all that optimistic that Brantley would be able to return for Saturday night's game and he proved to be right. According to Rome, Baker said the 33-year-old looked "real good" when he ran the bases Saturday, and he'll be evaluated again Sunday to determine if he can be activated from the injured list next week.

Pederson isn't in the lineup Saturday against the Rockies.

With a left-hander (Kyle Freeland) on the mound for the Rockies, Pederson will sit for the second time in the past three games. Chris Taylor will start in left field with Enrique Hernandez starting at second base.

Choi isn't starting Saturday against the Blue Jays.

Choi will take a seat with left-hander Hyun-Jin Ryu starting for the Blue Jays on Saturday. Mike Brosseau will serve as the first baseman with Choi sidelined.

Reyes went 1-for-4 with a home run, a walk, two RBI and two runs scored in a loss a 10-5 loss to the Tigers on Friday.

The Indians got off to a quick start in this one, scoring three in the second inning before Reyes made it a five-run lead in the third with a two-run homer to right. Reyes has logged a hit in three straight games as he is now hitting .297/.356/.527 with six home runs and 18 RBI in 101 plate appearances this season.

Jimenez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored in Friday's 10-1 win over the Cubs.

By the time Jimenez joined in on Friday's fun with a seventh-inning homer, the game had already been decided. He's homered in two consecutive games and has nine for the season, tying him with several others at fourth in the majors. Over the last 11 games, Jimenez is slashing .395/.409/.814 with six homers and 12 RBI, a stat line reminiscent of his breakout month last September.

Ozuna went 3-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI in Friday's win over the Phillies.

Atlanta scored all 11 of its runs over two innings, the third and the fifth, and Ozuna went yard in both. The 29-year-old is hitting .313 with four homers and nine RBI over the last eight games, boosting his slash line on the year to .280/.382/.559.

Martinez went 1-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and a run scored as he helped the Red Sox to an 8-5 win over the Orioles on Friday.

It was nice to see Martinez showcase his elite power as he cranked a two-out, two-run homer to center field in the third inning. Martinez has consistently been one of the best power hitters in baseball since 2015, so it's a bit unfitting seeing him with just three home runs in 25 games so far this season. He'll continue to be in the regular lineup and is going to be counted on to produce runs due to the fact that the Red Sox have the second-highest team ERA (5.97) in the majors.

Soler went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer in Friday's 7-2 win over the Twins.

He set the tone for the evening with a blast off Jake Odorizzi (abdomen) before the right-hander had even recorded an out in the first inning. Soler hadn't gone yard since Aug. 8, but on the year he's slashing .255/.336/.489 with six homers and 14 RBI through 26 games.
