Soler went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer in Friday's 7-2 win over the Twins.

He set the tone for the evening with a blast off Jake Odorizzi (abdomen) before the right-hander had even recorded an out in the first inning. Soler hadn't gone yard since Aug. 8, but on the year he's slashing .255/.336/.489 with six homers and 14 RBI through 26 games.

Lewis went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, two walks and two more runs scored during Friday's win over the Rangers.

Lewis extended Seattle's lead with a solo home run off Wes Benjamin in the second inning. It was the sixth long ball of the season for the 25-year-old, who just may have what it takes to claim American League Rookie of the Year. Across 27 games, Lewis is leading the Mariners in batting average (.354), home runs (six), on-base percentage (.440) and hits (35).

Miller went 0-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Reds.

Miller knocked in Kolten Wong with a bases-loaded fielder's choice in the fifth inning. Miller promptly recorded his first steal of the year to get into scoring position, but he couldn't come around to score. The 30-year-old utility man is slashing .348/.467/.696 with two homers, 10 RBI and four runs scored across 30 plate appearances.

Manager Dusty Baker said Friday that he's "not real optimistic" that Brantley (quadriceps) will be able to return Saturday, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Brantley is traveling with the Astros on their current road trip, and Saturday is the first day that he'll be eligible to return from the injured list. However, he's still apparently dealing with his quadriceps soreness, casting some doubt on his availability.

Ohtani isn't starting Friday against the Athletics.

Ohtani started the past three games as the Angels' designated hitter but was hitless with one walk and three strikeouts over 12 at-bats. He'll get a day to rest Friday with Tommy La Stella taking over as the designated hitter.

Canha went 1-for-2 with a double, two walks, a stolen base and a run in a win over the Diamondbacks on Thursday.

Even when he's not blasting the ball over the fence, Canha continues to get on base at an elite clip. Factoring in Thursday's production, the veteran now boasts a .413 OBP, a figure partly comprised of a career-high 14.7 percent walk rate and five hit by pitches. Canha has also hit safely in seven of his last eight games, and he's complemented his three home runs with five doubles and one triple over 109 plate appearances.

Harper is not in the lineup Friday against the Braves, Meghan Montemurro of The Athletic reports.

The 27-year-old started all 21 games in right field this season, so he'll receive a day off Friday as manager Joe Girardi described him as "dog-tired," per Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer. Harper has an impressive 1.147 OPS with six homers, 21 runs, 16 RBI and four stolen bases through 86 plate appearances. Roman Quinn receives the start in right field for the Phillies.

Belt is not in the lineup Friday against Arizona, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

The 32-year-old will take a seat with left-hander Robbie Ray pitching for the Diamondbacks in the series opener after going 1-for-3 with a run and two walks Thursday. Wilmer Flores starts at first base Friday, while Austin Slater serves as the designated hitter.

Dickerson is out of the lineup Friday against the Diamondbacks, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

The Giants are facing their third straight left-handed starter with Robbie Ray on the mound for the Diamondbacks, and Dickerson has been on the bench for all three games. Hunter Pence receives the start in left field for San Francisco.

Solak tied the game for the Rangers in the top of the ninth with a solo homer against Emilio Pagan. Unfortunately, Texas came up short in extra innings. On the season, Solak has two home runs and leads his teammates in batting average (.278), on-base percentage (.380) and hits (22).
