Ryan O'Hearn 1B | PIT
Orioles' Ryan O'Hearn: On bench vs. lefty
O'Hearn is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Guardians, Jacob Calvin Meyer of The Baltimore Sun reports.
O'Hearn has gone 1-for-10 with two walks, a stolen base and a run over the past three games and will sit Tuesday as lefty Logan Allen takes the mound for Cleveland. Adley Rutschman is receiving a turn at designated hitter while Gary Sanchez starts behind the plate.

Spencer Steer 1B | CIN
Reds' Spencer Steer: Absent from Tuesday's lineup
Steer is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mariners.
Steer remains limited to designated-hitter duty and Austin Hays is getting the start there in his first game back from the injured list. Steer has been ramping up his throwing lately, so it's possible he could be ready to play the field soon.

Jonah Bride 3B | TEX
Marlins' Jonah Bride: Designated for assignment by Miami
Bride was designated for assignment by the Marlins on Tuesday.
Bride was removed from the 40-man roster in order to make room for Jesus Sanchez and his return from the 10-day injured list. Bride was off to a rough start this season, slashing .100/.200/.100 with zero extra-base hits, two RBI, three runs scored and a 5:15 BB:K across 45 plate appearances. Bride hit right-handed pitching well in 2024, slashing .302/.364/.550 with a .248 ISO, .382 wOBA and 144 wRC+ spanning 173 trips to the plate. The 29-year-old will look to get his bat going in the minors.

Bryan Reynolds LF | PIT
Pirates' Bryan Reynolds: Hits in four straight
Reynolds went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored Monday against the Nationals.
Reynolds remains limited to designated-hitter duties as he manages triceps soreness, though he has started to show some life at the plate. He has a modest four-game hitting streak, but the fantasy impact has been minimal as his only counting stats in that span came during Monday's performance.

Yandy Diaz 1B | TB
Rays' Yandy Diaz: Goes yard again
Diaz went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, two RBI and two runs scored Monday against the Red Sox.
Diaz led off the game with a home run, kicking off a 16-run outburst for the Rays. He has also gone deep in consecutive games and has three homers on the season. After a slow start to the campaign, Diaz has multiple hits in four of his last six starts with seven runs scored and four RBI in that span.

Shohei Ohtani DH | LAD
Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani: Homers among three hits Monday
Ohtani went 3-for-5 with a solo home run and two additional runs against the Rockies in a 5-3 win Monday.
Ohtani's homer came in the third inning, when he belted a 408-foot shot to center field. Prior to Monday, the star slugger had been in a bit of a power drought, going deep just once over his previous nine games. Ohtani's spot atop the Dodgers' order has hamstrung his ability to drive in runs to some extent, as he has just six RBI through 18 games. Beyond that, though, he's been quite productive, posting a .296/.390/.549 slash line, five homers and four stolen bases. He's also scored 18 runs, second-most in the majors.

Seiya Suzuki RF | CHC
Cubs' Seiya Suzuki: Absent from starting nine
Suzuki (wrist) isn't starting Monday's game against the Padres.
Suzuki can continue to be considered day-to-day while dealing with a right wrist injury. Justin Turner will see another start in Suzuki's absence, as he'll slot into the DH spot and bat third against Dylan Cease in Monday's series opener.

Kris Bryant RF | COL
Rockies' Kris Bryant: Heads to IL with back injury
The Rockies placed Bryant on the 10-day injured list Monday with lumbar degenerative disc disease.
Back injuries have plagued Bryant throughout his tenure with the Rockies and this latest stint on the injured list figures to be a lengthy one. The 33-year-old has just a .400 OPS and 31.7 percent strikeout rate in 11 games for Colorado this season. Kyle Farmer is starting at designated hitter Monday while Adael Amador plays second base.

Kris Bryant RF | COL
Rockies' Kris Bryant: Absent from lineup again
Bryant is not in the lineup for Monday's contest against the Dodgers.
Bryant isn't dealing with any known injury, but this is the second day in a row he's been out of the lineup and the third time across the last four games versus a right-hander that he hasn't started. The 33-year-old has a .400 OPS and 31.7 percent strikeout rate in his first 11 tilts this season. For the second straight day, Kyle Farmer is starting at designated hitter Monday while Adael Amador plays second base.

Braves' Marcell Ozuna: Out until Friday with inflamed hip
Atlanta manager Brian Snitker said Monday that Ozuna will be unavailable for the team's three-game series in Toronto due to hip inflammation, Barrett Sallee of 680 The Fan reports.
Ozuna was sent back to Atlanta to undergo an MRI, which showed inflammation in the hip but no other serious concerns, per Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He is considered day-to-day but will remain in Atlanta until the team returns home Friday. Bryan De La Cruz will start at designated hitter in Monday's series opener in Toronto.
