Cespedes (illness) is in the lineup for Monday's game against the Braves, MLB.com's Anthony DiComo reports.

Cespedes was forced from Sunday's game after experiencing dizziness, but he will be back in his usual starting spot in left field just one day later, hitting third against Braves starter Aaron Blair.

Harper is not in the lineup Monday against the Marlins, Chelsea Janes of the Washington Post reports.

With the Nats comfortably atop the NL East, they'll rest the reigning NL MVP in preparation for the postseason. Harper hit an encouraging .310 in the month of August, but his struggles have returned in September, as he's hitting just .184 with one home run, seven RBI and 16 strikeouts across 49 at-bats.

Stanton is in the lineup for Monday's game against the Nationals, Andre Fernandez of the Miami Herald reports.

Stanton was limited to bench duty for two days after starting Friday for the first time since Aug. 13, but his presence in Monday's lineup indicates he was simply being rested and did not suffer any sort of setback with his groin injury. The slugger will man right field and hit fifth in the Marlins' batting order Monday night.

Pederson was ejected for arguing balls and strikes after striking out in Sunday's 10-9 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Pederson walked and scored a run after entering the game as a pinch hitter for Charlie Culberson in the sixth inning. He was ejected by home-plate umpire Ryan Blakney for arguing a called third strike in his second at-bat. It was Pederson's first ejection of the season.

Updating a previous report, Cespedes left Sunday's game due to nausea and dizziness, MLB.com's Anthony DiComo reports.

Cespedes had been dealing with quadriceps soreness, leading many to speculate that his leg was the reason for Sunday's early exit. That doesn't sound like it's the case, however, as an apparent illness seems to be the culprit. Consider Cespedes day-to-day heading into Monday's series opener against the Braves.

Cespedes left Sunday's game in the seventh inning with an undisclosed injury, Jared Diamond of the Wall Street Journal reports.

Cespedes dealt with quadriceps discomfort earlier in the week, but the team has yet to disclose whether or not this was the reason for Sunday's early exit. The outfielder was 1-for-2 with a double before he was replaced by Brandon Nimmo.

Soler (side) had an MRI on Sunday, which revealed nothing serious, Carrie Muskat of MLB.com reports.

Soler departed Friday's game against the Brewers with tightness in his right side, but it looks as though he's avoided any injury that could keep him out for more than a few days. However, the Cubs clinched the NL Central over the weekend, so they have little incentive to bring Soler back before he's at 100 percent health. Consider Soler day-to-day in advance of Monday's series opener against the Reds.

Stanton is out of the lineup Sunday against the Phillies.

The Marlins haven't indicated that Stanton suffered any setbacks with his recent groin injury after returning to the starting lineup Friday. However, with the team's playoff hopes fading, there's little reason to push the outfielder after he returned from the injury earlier than anticipated. Stanton will likely make a few more starts over the final two weeks, but don't expect the Marlins to use him every day. Derek Dietrich will make a start in the outfield Sunday while Stanton remains available off the bench as a pinch-hitting option.

Buxton is hitting sixth in Sunday's lineup against the Mets, the LaVelle Neal III of the Star Tribune reports. He went 2-for-5 with his seventh home run in Saturday's extra-inning loss.

Buxton continues his hot September with his sixth home run of the month. He's hitting .333 with a 1.141 OPS in' September. He's hit ninth most of the year, so his move up the order shows the Twins may have confidence he's finally turned the corner in the majors after struggling before September.

Vogelbach didn't start Saturday even though a right-hander was on the mound because the Mariners don't want to "overexpose" him, the Seattle Times reports.

With Adam Lind out (finger), Vogelbach figured to start, but instead Dae-Ho Lee started at first. Vogelbach, who was called up last week, struck out three times Friday. He has one hit in 10 at-bats with five strikeouts and no walks. He'll likely go to spring training next season competing for a platoon job at first base.
