Cabrera has been listed as day-to-day with a strained bicep, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.

What was initially believed to be a shoulder injury, turned out to be a strained bicep. Cabrera's availability for Detroit's coming games will determined by the severity of the strain, which should be known in the near future. The team considers him day-to-day for now.

Cabrera left Monday's game in the top of the fifth inning with a shoulder injury, Mike Mulholland of MLive.com reports.

Jarrod Saltalamacchia went in to replace the 33-year-old slugger after he hurt his shoulder. More information on the status of Cabrera's injury should be known after the game when Detroit's medical staff has a chance to further examine him; however, the team was seen wrapping Cabrera's shoulder after he was pulled from action. Cabrera had been dominant at the plate heading into Monday's contest, posting a .373/.397/.746 line with six home runs over the last 14 games.

Dickerson is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Rays.

Dickerson went just 4-for-20 (.200) over his last five games, so manager Andy Green decided it was time to hold him out of the starting lineup for the first time since Aug. 1. Christian Bethancourt will get the start in left field in Dickerson's place.

Harper (neck) went 1-for-3 with a walk, a double, two runs scored and an RBI in Sunday's win over the Braves.

In his first game action since Aug. 6, Harper was able to hit the ball with some authority and he appears to be over the neck stiffness that was keeping him sidelined. The right fielder has been alternating big months with terrible ones this season, so coming off a .176/.303/.319 July, he seems due to go on a tear. With the Nationals starting a series in Coors Field on Monday, Harper couldn't have picked a better time to return.

Choi went 1-for-3 with a walk and a two-run homer, his fifth of the season, in Sunday's loss to the Indians.

Aside from the occasional power display, Choi hasn't appeared ready for the majors since being called up, hitting .168/.273/.368 through 95 at-bats. The Angels will keep running him out there, but there's little reason for him to be rostered right now in most fantasy leagues.

Ozuna went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Sunday's win over the White Sox.

It may not seem like much, but it was Ozuna's first multi-hit game since July 29 and just his second RBI in August. With Giancarlo Stanton (groin) now out for the rest of the year, the Marlins desperately need Ozuna's bat to wake up if they're going to stay in the wild-card chase.

Martinez went 3-for-5 with a double, a two-run homer and two runs Sunday against the Rangers.

Martinez has been on fire since returning from the disabled list on August 2, as he's collected 17 hits in 40 at-bats with seven extra-base hits and five RBI, and he's now slashing .303/.372/.548 on the year. From a statistical standpoint, the lefty is enjoying the second-best season of his six-year career, and is in position to help fantasy teams make a playoff push.

Cabrera went 1-for-5 with a solo homer Sunday against the Rangers.

Cabrera is on fire this month, as he's collected multiple hits in seven of his 12 games while leaving the yard four times, raising his slash line to .311/.384/.551 on the year. His 27 bombs on the year are the most he's had since hitting 44 in 2013.

Stanton (groin) will miss the remainder of the 2016 season, MLB.com's Joe Frisaro reports.

Stanton tweaked his groin following an at-bat Saturday night, and the news began to look ominous when it was announced he would end up on the DL early Sunday morning. The team sent him for an MRI, and the results concluded a worst-case scenario: a Grade 3 strain that carries a six-week timetable and likely ends his season. The Marlins may eventually look for a replacement to fill the huge void left by Stanton's bat, but in the short term, Ichiro Suzuki will take over in right field. It's a devastating blow for a Miami squad that was just a half-game behind in the NL Wild Card standings entering Sunday's play.

Belt went 1-for-5 with a two-run homer in Saturday's 6-2 win over Baltimore.

This wasn't your typical Brandon Belt stat line, as he is usually very patient and passive at the plate. He may have been trying to spark a struggling Giants lineup, which would explain the three strikeouts. Whatever the case, owners will definitely trade in his great discipline for home runs. Belt has shown increased pop in the month of August (three homers) after posting just one in the month of July.
