Harper pointed to the Nationals' nine remaining games against the Braves as a potential reason they could get back into the race. The team is currently 10 1/2 games out of first in the NL East. Harper added, "if we play like we’re capable, we will win this and we will do it. I know that for a fact."
Harper is hitting .273/.370/.529 in 242 at-bats.

Tigers third baseman Miguel Cabrera is out of Wednesday's lineup with an abdominal injury, MLive.com reports.
Cabrera aggravated the injury in Tuesday's game and was forced to leave in the fifth inning. It's the same injury Cabrera was dealing with near the All-Star break. The injury mostly impacts Cabrera on defensive plays. According to the team head athletic trainer, it will be a day-to-day issue.
