  • Justin Turner DH | CHC

Red Sox's Justin Turner: Three-hit effort in win

Turner went 3-for-5 with an RBI, a stolen base and two runs scored in Thursday's 11-5 win over the Blue Jays.

Even at 38 years old, Turner can still swipe a bag here and there. He's notched now notched two steals this season. He's posted multiple hits in three straight games, raising his slash line to .286/.377/.389 with two home runs, 11 RBI, 17 runs scored and seven doubles through 33 contests. He won't pump up the counting stats much, but he's a solid stabilizer for batting average in fantasy.

  • Byron Buxton DH | MIN

Twins' Byron Buxton: Ties game with clutch homer

Buxton went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Thursday's win over the White Sox.

Buxton had an up-and-down performance Thursday, finishing the contest with a pair of walks, a pair of strikeouts and a game-tying solo home run in the eighth inning. The long ball marked Buxton's eighth in 29 games, while the 29-year-old holds a .262/.350/.570 slash line on the year. As long as Buxton stays healthy, which is a tall task considering he has played over 100 games just once in his nine MLB seasons, he should produce big numbers for fantasy managers who were willing to take the risk.

  • Eloy Jimenez DH | TOR

White Sox's Eloy Jimenez: Productive in extra-inning loss

Jimenez went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run and an additional RBI in Thursday's loss to the Twins.

Jimenez was the lone source of offense for the White Sox on Thursday, driving in all three of the team's runs and smacking his fourth home run on the season. However, his efforts were not enough for a win, as Chicago fell in 12 innings. He's in the midst of a seven-game hit streak during which he's gone 13-for-29 with a double, two homers, eight RBI and five runs.

  • Jorge Soler DH | LAA

Marlins' Jorge Soler: Accounts for offense in loss

Soler went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double and three RBI in Thursday's 6-3 loss to Atlanta.

Soler tagged Dylan Dodd for a two-run homer in the first inning and an RBI double in the fifth, but that was the extent of Miami's run production. This was Soler's third three-hit effort of the year, but he'd gone just 2-for-33 over nine games since his last such performance. The 31-year-old is batting only .220, but his .765 OPS through 30 contests would be his highest since 2020. He's added six homers, 13 RBI, 12 runs scored and nine doubles this season.

  • Marcell Ozuna DH | PIT

Braves' Marcell Ozuna: Homers again Thursday

Ozuna went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional run scored and a walk in Thursday's 6-3 win over Miami.

Ozuna's fourth-inning solo shot put Atlanta up 4-2, which was all the offense the team needed to win. His last five games played have all come against Miami, and he's torched his former team by going 7-for-21 (.333) with three homers, six RBI, seven runs scored and a 3:5 BB:K over that span. That solid stretch has raised his slash line to .153/.256/.375 over 82 plate appearances, so he still has some work to do to get his numbers in the respectable range. He also has five homers, eight RBI and 10 runs scored this season.

  • Miguel Cabrera DH | DET

Tigers' Miguel Cabrera: Aiming for Friday return

Cabrera (illness) remains out of the Tigers' lineup Thursday versus the Mets.

Cabrera will miss all three games of the series against the Mets. The good news is that he's feeling better and could be back Friday, per Chris McCosky of The Detroit News. Eric Haase is serving as the Tigers' designated hitter Thursday with Jake Rogers working behind the plate.

  • Marcell Ozuna DH | PIT

Braves' Marcell Ozuna: Revenge game in Miami

Ozuna went 3-for-5 with two home runs and five RBI in Wednesday's 14-6 win over the Marlins.

Facing the team he spent the first five seasons of his MLB career with, Ozuna launched a grand slam in the second inning off Braxton Garrett before tagging Garrett again in the third for a solo shot. Ozuna's had an awful beginning to the season -- he had only two solo homers and no other RBI through 19 games coming into this one -- but if he heats up at the plate, he should quickly reclaim the starting DH spot. The 32-year-old is slashing only .147/.247/.338 through 77 plate appearances.

  • Mark Canha LF | TEX

Mets' Mark Canha: Slugs third homer

Canha went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in a loss to the Tigers during the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader.

The 34-year-old took Joey Wentz deep in the second inning, one of three Mets homers in the matinee. Canha has struggled to get into a rhythm at the plate to begin the season, and after going 1-for-4 in the nightcap, he's slashing .229/.319/.385 through 29 games with three homers, two steals, 10 RBI and 14 runs. The homer was his first since April 15.

  • Rockies' Charlie Blackmon: Crushes third homer of season

Blackmon went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 7-1 victory over the Brewers.

Blackmon's monster 463-foot shot to right field gave Colorado a 7-0 lead in the eighth inning. He has hits in five of his past six games, going 7-for-23 with four extra-base hits during that stretch. The 36-year-old is slashing .275/.385/.431 with three home runs, nine RBI and 14 runs in 28 games.

  • Shohei Ohtani DH | LAD

Angels' Shohei Ohtani: Ties career high with 13 Ks

Ohtani did not factor into the decision Wednesday, allowing four runs on five hits and one walk over five innings against the Cardinals. He struck out 13.

Ohtani now leads the league with 59 strikeouts on the season. The two-way superstar is also tied for seventh with a 0.87 WHIP. However, the right-hander has now allowed nine runs over his last 11 innings after allowing just two runs over his previous five starts. He is tentatively slated to face the Astros at home in his next start.
