Boston recalled Ort from Triple-A Worcester on Sunday, Alex Speier of The Boston Globe reports.

Ort will give the Red Sox a fresh arm in the bullpen, with Ryan Sherriff heading to Triple-A in the corresponding transaction. In his 12 appearances with Boston thus far, Ort has struggled with a 7.30 ERA and 1.78 WHIP over 12.1 innings.

The Twins placed Sands on the 15-day injured list Sunday with a right shoulder impingement.

Sands had not worked in a game since May 30 after throwing 2.1 scoreless frames against the Astros. The right-hander will be out for two-plus weeks while he recovers, and the Twins reinstated Caleb Thielbar (oblique) off the 15-day IL in a corresponding move.

Minnesota activated Thielbar (oblique) on Sunday off the 15-day injured list.

Thielbar fired two scoreless rehab appearances with Triple-A St. Paul, and while he wasn't activated as expected before Friday's game against the Guardians, the left-hander will now get a chance to be a mid-innings option for the Minnesota bullpen. Cole Sands (shoulder) was placed on the 15-day IL in the corresponding transaction.

Pressly allowed one earned run on two hits while striking out two across one inning in Saturday's game against the Angels.

Pressly entered the game in the ninth inning with a four-run lead, allowing two singles and a wild pitch to surrender a run. He has allowed at least one earned run in three of his last 10 appearances, though he has only one blown save in that span and has maintained a 15:1 K:BB across 10 frames. Though he's had an inconsistent start to the season, Pressly comfortably remains the Astros' closer.

Sborz (2-2) earned the win over Seattle on Saturday. He struck out two over two scoreless and hitless relief innings.

Sborz entered in the fourth inning after starter Andrew Heaney left with none out and the bases loaded. The righty reliever struck out the first batter he faced before giving up a run on a groundout. Sborz has not been immune to recent bullpen struggles but has put together two consecutive strong appearances in which he's struck out four of nine batters without allowing a hit.

Jansen (1-3) gave up a hit and struck out the side in a scoreless ninth inning during the first game of Saturday's doubleheader, recording his 12th save of the season, but he then gave up two runs on three hits and a walk in the second game to get tagged with the loss.

All told, the veteran closer tossed 43 pitches (26 strikes) across both games, so Jansen will likely be unavailable for a couple days to recuperate should Boston have any late leads to protect. The right-hander has been a solid addition to the Red Sox bullpen this season, posting a 3.86 ERA and 22:12 K:BB through 18.2 innings while converting 12 of 15 save chances, but the team's lack of reliable high-leverage options to support him is beginning to take its toll -- Jansen's allowed multiple runs in three of his last eight appearances.

Adam recorded his eighth save of the season in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Red Sox, walking one in a scoreless ninth inning.

With Pete Fairbanks (hip) continuing to have trouble staying healthy, Adam has been the most reliable arm in the Rays' bullpen this season. The 31-year-old righty has gone 8-for-10 on save chances since the beginning of May with a 23:6 K:BB through 14 innings, but if Tampa Bay looks outside the organization and trades for a high-leverage arm or two, Adam could find himself back in a fireman role similar to last year's when he wound up with 21 holds and eight saves despite elite ratios.

Holmes picked up a save in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Dodgers after tossing a scoreless inning during which he allowed one walk.

Holmes was tasked with protecting a three-run ninth-inning lead and did so successfully despite issuing a two-out walk. He picked up his first save since May 21, though he pitched well over four contests in the interim, allowing one run on one hit while posting a 5:2 K:BB across four innings. Manager Aaron Boone has mixed and matched closers this season -- seven different relievers have earned a save thus far -- but Holmes has each of the team's past two conversions and leads New York with six saves overall, so he's probably the safest bet for ninth-inning opportunities moving forward.

Swanson picked up the save Saturday against the Mets. He allowed one hit while striking out one over a scoreless inning.

Swanson received his first save opportunity of 2023 and came through with a scoreless inning to earn his seventh career save. Though Swanson is typically used as a setup man and has excelled in that role, he was handed the ball in the ninth with Jordan Romano resting after pitching back-to-back days. Through 27 appearances (27.2 innings), Swanson owns a 2.93 ERA with 34 strikeouts but will likely only enter the fantasy conversation if Romano misses significant time.

Clase earned a save against the Twins on Saturday with a perfect inning that included two strikeouts.

Clase had no problem protecting a two-run ninth-inning lead, striking out the first two batters he faced and needing a modest 15 pitches overall to set down the side in order. The save was the first for Clase since last Friday, though that wasn't due to any struggles, as the closer notched two scoreless innings in non-save situations in the interim. Clase leads MLB in both saves (18) and save chances (23) this season.
