Moll (shoulder) will not return in 2022, the Associated Press reports.

The book is therefore closed on a very encouraging campaign for the 30-year-old, who mostly toiled in the minor leagues for eight-plus seasons before finally sticking on the big-league roster in 2021. Moll came into his own this season, producing a 2.91 ERA and 9.6 K/9 with two wins and 16 holds across 53 appearances. Under full team control through 2024, Moll should be healthy well in advance of spring training and slot into a key middle-relief role in 2023.

Oller (ribs) is slated to throw a bullpen session Friday, the Associated Press reports.

Oller began a throwing progression Tuesday, and he's apparently ready to throw off a mound Friday as his next step. Manager Mark Kotsay noted the right-hander will be "on track to be ready to go if everything goes well", seemingly giving Oller, who's already eligible for activation from the IL, a chance to return before the end of the regular season.

Snead (1-1) took the loss against the Mariners on Thursday, allowing two earned runs on two hits, a walk and a wild pitch over two-thirds of an inning.

His messy line during a brief 17-pitch outing came after the southpaw inherited a one-on, no-out situation from starter Adrian Martinez. Snead opened September with three straight scoreless appearances, but he's allowed six earned runs on 10 hits across 4.1 innings over his subsequent five trips to the mound.

Bautista picked up the save in Thursday's 2-0 win over the Astros, striking out the only batter he faced.

Bautista has converted 13 straight save opportunities, recording a 1.99 ERA over 22.2 innings in 20 outings during that span. During his last three appearances prior to Thursday's outing, however, the righty had allowed two runs and six baserunners over four innings.

Chargois did not factor into the decision Thursday, allowing one run on two hits and zero walks over one inning against the Blue Jays. He struck out one.

Chargois gave up a leadoff triple to George Springer to start the game, who then came around to score on a Bo Bichette double two batters later. Fortunately, the right-hander managed to escape the inning without allowing any further damage before making way for Ryan Yarbrough in the second inning. Chargois had not allowed a run in five straight contests coming into Thursday's matchup.

Clase earned a save against the White Sox on Thursday, striking out one batter in a perfect inning.

Cleveland carried a two-run lead into the ninth frame and, as expected, handed the ball to Clase. The right-hander needed just 12 pitches (eight of which were strikes) to set down the side in order. Clase has picked up seven saves in nine chances in September and leads the league with 37 saves overall this season.

White will be called up from Triple-A Buffalo to start Friday against the Rays, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

The 27-year-old pitched for Buffalo on Sunday and will rejoin the big club to start Friday in Tampa Bay. White had a 3.70 ERA over 56 innings with the Dodgers to begin the season, but he's struggled since being acquired by the Blue Jays with 26 earned runs allowed in 31.1 frames.

Leclerc allowed a hit but struck out the side to earn the save Thursday against the Angels.

Leclerc allowed a one-out double but still recorded his seventh save of the season with relative ease. Since Aug. 7, the last time any other Ranger received a save, Leclerc has maintained a 1.93 ERA with a 28:7 K:BB across 18.2 innings. He should remain a relatively consistent source of saves to close the campaign.

Manager Kevin Cash said after Thursday's win over the Blue Jays that Yarbrough may have suffered a strained right oblique, and it's "highly likely" the left-hander will be placed on the 15-day injured list, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Yarbrough followed an opener Thursday and allowed two runs in one inning before he exited with the injury, though he still ended up picking up his third win of the year. Assuming he moves to the injured list as expected, the 30-year-old will miss the rest of the regular season and will be eligible to return early in the playoffs.

Heasley (4-8) allowed one earned run on two hits and two walks while striking out three across six innings to earn the win Thursday against the Twins.

Heasley got 11 flyball outs and successfully kept the ball in the yard to turn in his second consecutive quality start. Since being recalled from Triple-A Omaha on Aug. 9, Heasley has maintained an impressive 3.26 ERA. However, that has come with a 24:16 K:BB across 38.2 frames. Despite the strong results of late, Heasley owns only a 4.87 ERA across 94.1 innings for the season.
