Yarbrough was recalled from Triple-A Durham and is expected to fill a bulk relief role Thursday against the Blue Jays, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Jeffrey Springs had been scheduled to start but was placed on the family medical emergency list, so the team will instead turn to Yarbrough on short notice. Yarbrough is expected to handle the bulk innings behind opener Matt Wisler. Yarbrough was demoted in early June after opening the year with a career-high 5.65 ERA and career-low 15.0 percent strikeout rate through his first seven outings, and his 4.74 ERA in five Triple-A starts doesn't inspire much confidence.

Guerra's contract was selected by the Rays on Thursday.

The 26-year-old will join Tampa Bay's active roster as a replacement player after Brooks Raley and Ryan Thompson were placed on the restricted list ahead of the team's weekend series in Toronto. Guerra made seven big-league appearances between the Padres and Rays earlier in the year and allowed nine runs in 7.1 innings.

Martinez was called up from Triple-A Las Vegas and will start Thursday versus the Mariners, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

As expected, Martinez will toe the rubber Thursday against Seattle, making his second career major-league start. He last pitched for the big league club May 10, tossing 5.1 scoreless frames against the Tigers while allowing four hits and striking out three. The 25-year-old will look to repeat his success from that outing when he takes on a division rival in the series opener.

Moore allowed one hit and struck out one over two scoreless innings in Wednesday's 2-1 loss to Kansas City.

Moore remains unblemished for the month of June with four hits and four walks allowed while striking out 15 over 13.1 scoreless innings. The 33-year-old lefty, who sports a 182 ERA+ for the season, is part of a Texas bullpen that's ranked ninth during the month of June with a 3.40 ERA.

Iglesias earned a save against the White Sox on Wednesday, pitching a scoreless inning during which he walked one batter and struck out two.

Iglesias inherited a three-run, ninth-inning lead and was able to close things out despite issuing a two-out walk. This was his fourth straight successful save conversion after giving up three runs to blow a save against the Phillies on June 5. Since that poor outing, Iglesias has allowed only one run while posting a 15:1 K:BB over nine outings covering nine innings.

Strahm (3-2) allowed two runs (one earned) on three hits and a walk with three strikeouts in two innings, picking up the extra-inning win Wednesday over the Blue Jays.

Strahm kept the game tied at 3-3 in the ninth inning. The Red Sox pulled ahead by three in the top of the 10th, but Strahm nearly gave it all back in the bottom half of the frame, narrowly preserving a one-run lead at the end to earn his third win. This was just the third time all year Strahm's allowed multiple runs in an appearance. He's at a 3.80 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 26:7 K:BB across 23.2 innings while adding three saves, nine holds and two blown saves. He'll likely continue to be a part of a volatile closer committee, though Tanner Houck (personal) will likely be the preferred closer when the Red Sox return stateside for a three-game series versus the Cubs that begins Friday.

Pivetta allowed two runs on five hits, three walks and a hit-by-pitch with five strikeouts in six innings in a no-decision versus the Blue Jays on Wednesday.

Pivetta has logged quality starts in all but one of his last 11 outings. He gave up an RBI single to Santiago Espinal and a solo home run to George Springer to account for the runs on his line Wednesday. The strong pitching has Pivetta at a 3.23 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 91:32 K:BB across 94.2 innings in 16 starts overall. He carries an 8-5 record into his next projected start, currently set for a home outing against the Rays next week.

Morgan (4-2) earned the win in Wednesday's 7-6, 10-inning victory over the Twins. He allowed three runs (two earned) on two hits and struck out two in one inning.

Morgan allowed three runs in the 10th inning, but the Guardians were able to bounce back and walk it off with a Josh Naylor blast. It appears regression has started to get to Morgan, who has allowed runs in each of his last three appearances, which have included two blown saves. He still has a strong 2.75 ERA, 0.69 WHIP and 45:6 K:BB with six holds through 36 innings across 23 outings. The right-hander has worked his way into some setup opportunities, but continued struggles could see him slip back into middle relief.

Barlow struck out two and didn't allow a baserunner across a scoreless ninth inning to earn the save Wednesday against the Rangers.

Barlow had no issue protecting a one-run lead to lock down his 10th save of the season. He has turned in three consecutive scoreless appearances since blowing a save June 21, posting a 5:0 K:BB across 2.2 innings. Barlow has been excellent in the closer role for the Royals this season, maintaining a 2.14 ERA with a 34:10 K:BB across 33.2 innings.

Holmes didn't allow a baserunner in a scoreless ninth inning to earn his 14th save of the season in Wednesday's 5-3 win against Oakland. He did not record a strikeout.

Holmes threw 11 of his 16 pitches for strikes and induced three groundouts to deliver a clean save. The right-hander threw 22 pitches Tuesday and has pitched three of the past four days, so manager Aaron Boone could attempt to minimize Holmes' usage Thursday in Houston.
