Loaisiga is not available out of the bullpen for Wednesday's game against the Reds due to an illness, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

After a mound visit from a trainer, Loaisiga was removed from his appearance in Tuesday's 5-4 loss after retiring just one batter and yielding three earned runs. An immediate explanation wasn't provided for Loaisiga's removal, but the Yankees have since clarified that the right-hander is under the weather. With the Yankees scheduled for an off day Thursday, Loaisiga will look to return for Friday's series opener against the Athletics.

The Blue Jays designated Turnbull for assignment Wednesday.

The Blue Jays needed to clear a spot on the 26-man active roster and 40-man roster for the return of Max Scherzer (thumb) from the 60-day injured list, and Turnbull is the casualty. Turnbull signed a one-year contract with Toronto in early May and was called up to the majors in early June, but he didn't look sharp, allowing five runs with a 4:4 K:BB over 6.1 innings covering one start and two relief appearances. The 32-year-old should get another opportunity elsewhere, but he might have to settle for a minor-league deal if he clears waivers.

The Orioles optioned Hiraldo to Triple-A Norfolk on Wednesday.

Hiraldo didn't make any appearances out of the bullpen in his latest stint with the Orioles, which lasted just three days. His removal from the 26-man active roster frees up a spot for right-hander Brandon Young, who was recalled from Norfolk to start Wednesday's contest versus the Rangers.

Hader picked up the save Tuesday against Philadelphia, logging two strikeouts over a scoreless ninth inning.

Hader became the third closer to reach 20 saves this season, joining Carlos Estevez and Robert Suarez. Hader has struck out multiple batters in 11 of his last 13 appearances and owns a 2.03 ERA, a 0.68 WHIP and a 26:2 K:BB during that stretch.

Lauer (4-1) picked up the win Tuesday, allowing one run on five hits and three walks over 5.1 innings in a 10-6 victory over the Guardians. He struck out five.

The lefty held Cleveland off the board until the sixth inning before Carlos Santana belted a solo shot, but Toronto had already built a 4-0 lead. Lauer has been outstanding in June, posting a 1.71 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 21:7 K:BB in 21 innings over five appearances (three starts), and even with Max Scherzer (thumb) set to return Wednesday, his spot in the rotation seems secure. Lauer will look to keep rolling in his next outing, which is scheduled to come on the road this weekend in Boston.

Garcia struck out one in a perfect 10th inning Tuesday to record his sixth save of the season in a 6-5 win over the Orioles.

Luke Jackson worked 1.1 scoreless innings in front of him to collect the win, and Garcia was dominant to secure the save -- after the phantom runner advanced to third on a sacrifice bunt, the southpaw struck out Dylan Carlson and got Jackson Holliday to fly out weakly to right field to end things, tossing seven of his nine pitches for strikes overall. Jackson appears to have worked his way back into the highest-leverage mix, collecting a win, a save and two holds over his last five appearances, but Garcia is still manager Bruce Bochy's preferred closing option for the moment despite blowing two of his last seven save chances. During that 10-appearance span, Garcia's posted a shaky 4.82 ERA, 1.61 WHIP and 11:3 K:BB in 9.1 innings.

Latz came away with a no-decision in Tuesday's 6-5 extra-inning win over the Orioles, allowing two runs on one hit and three walks over six-plus innings. He struck out four.

The southpaw had a no-hitter going through six innings as the Rangers built a 3-0 lead, but after Latz gave up a single to Ramon Laureano and walked Gunnar Henderson to begin the seventh, he had to watch from the dugout as Chris Martin served up three straight home runs to erase his chance at a win. Latz has been outstanding over his last five appearances (two starts), posting a 3.50 ERA and 0.94 WHIP in 18 innings. His 14:8 K:BB over that stretch is less impressive, and suggests that he likely wouldn't sustain his current level of success if he were to receive a longer run in the rotation. With Nathan Eovaldi (triceps) on track to return from the injured list this weekend, Latz will likely head back to the bullpen.

Stephan (elbow) has had his rehab assignment moved to Double-A Akron, MLB.com reports.

Stephan made two appearances in the Arizona Complex League and two for Triple-A Columbus before the organization shifted him to Akron. He threw two scoreless innings for the RubberDucks on Tuesday, allowing one hit while striking out two. In total, the right-hander has a 6.35 ERA with eight strikeouts and three walks over 5.2 rehab innings.

Sewald (shoulder) allowed one hit and struck out one over one scoreless inning for Double-A Akron on Tuesday.

Sewald began a rehab assignment for a right posterior deltoid strain that landed him on the 15-day injured list in late April. MLB.com projects a July return for the right-hander.

Brash picked up his first save of the season in Tuesday's 6-5 win over the Twins, striking out a batter over a perfect inning of work.

Brash was called upon for the save after the Andres Munoz was deployed in the eighth of a tie game. The Mariners took the lead in the top of the ninth and Brash shut the door with ease. Tuesday's save was Brash's first since the 2023 season after he missed all of last year and the start of this year with injury. He's begun his 2025 campaign by pitching 14.1 scoreless innings while racking up seven holds and now a save. Brash looks to be the next man up for saves if Munoz were to miss time.
