Bummer (knee) was placed on the 15-day injured list as expected Monday.

Bummer hadn't pitched since Friday, so the transaction can be backdated two days, leaving him eligible to return May 22. It's not entirely clear whether or not he'll be able to do so, especially with the White Sox now referring to his injury as a strain rather than merely soreness. Joe Kelly (biceps) returned from the injured list to take his place in the bullpen.

King (2-1) was tagged with a blown save and a loss in Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader against the Rangers, giving up two runs on two hits and one walk over 1.1 innings. He struck out three.

King has been dominant this season, but he showed that he was mortal with a less-than-sharp effort Sunday. The right-hander entered with a runner on second base and the Yankees holding a one-run lead in the seventh inning and walked the first hitter he faced. After getting the next two batters out, King threw a wild pitch that allowed the tying run to score, then served up a two-run homer to Brad Miller. This was only the second time in nine appearances this season that he has been charged with an earned run, and his ERA still sits at a tidy 1.42 across 19 innings.

Chargois (oblique) has been throwing from 105 feet and is hoping to throw a bullpen session soon, Adam Berry of MLB.com reports.

Chargois has been sidelined since an appearance on Opening Day. There is no clear timeline for his return, though this is the first notable progress that Chargois has made in the last month.

Cimber (4-2) took the loss Sunday against the Guardians, recording only one out while giving up a run on two hits and a walk.

Entering a 3-3 tie with two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning, Cimber couldn't find that third out, issuing a free pass to Andres Gimenez in between sharp singles from Franmil Reyes and Oscar Mercado. The sidearmer hadn't pitched since Tuesday, but he might still be feeling the effects of a fairly heavy early-season workload that has included a lot of high-leverage spots. Cimber sports a 2.84 ERA and 0.87 WHIP with a save and five holds over 13 appearances and 12.2 innings.

Thielbar threw a scoreless inning in Sunday's win over Oakland to earn his second hold. He lowered his ERA to 9.00 (10 ER in 10 IP).

After a rough start to the season, Thielbar has given up one run in his last 4.2 innings with an 11:1 K:BB ratio. He's being counted on as an impact reliever, especially against left-handed batters (.606 OPS allowed to lefties last season).

Kittredge allowed one earned run on three hits across two innings Sunday to blow the save against the Mariners.

Kittredge entered the game in the eighth inning with a one-run lead. He made it through his first frame unscathed but surrendered a solo home run to Abraham Toro in the ninth to blow his first save of the season. Though Kittredge is already in a committee for the closing role in Tampa Bay, this outing isn't likely to impact his status as he has maintained an excellent 1.88 ERA and 0.63 WHIP with a 12:1 K:BB across 14.1 innings.

Morgan allowed a run on one hit and struck out three across 3.1 innings in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Blue Jays.

Morgan served in a bulk-relief role behind spot starter Konnor Pilkington. Four of Morgan's six outings this season have been longer than an inning as he continues to work as a swingman. He's pitched reasonably well with a 4.05 ERA, 0.68 WHIP and 15:2 K:BB through 13.1 innings, but he's unlikely to be a factor in fantasy unless he gets moved into the rotation.

Shaw (1-0) pitched a perfect inning to earn the win Sunday versus the Blue Jays.

Shaw kept the Guardians within a run in the eighth inning, and they took the lead in the bottom half of the frame. The 34-year-old reliever has been solid this year, posting a 1.80 ERA and 1.10 WHIP across 10 innings in 13 appearances. He's yet to allow a home run after surrendering 10 long balls in 81 appearances last season. Shaw has added three holds, though it's unlikely he'll challenge Emmanuel Clase for the closer job.

Clase struck out one in a perfect ninth inning to earn the save in Sunday's win over the Blue Jays.

Clase was called upon to preserve a one-run lead Sunday, and he needed just nine pitches to record his sixth save of the season. The right-hander has tossed four perfect innings over four appearances since the start of May and has converted all but one of his save chances in 2022. Clase has a 3.18 ERA and 0.88 WHIP in 11.1 innings this year and has operated as the Guardians' clear closer.

Pilkington allowed two runs on three hits and three walks while striking out six in 3.2 innings during Sunday's win over the Blue Jays. He didn't factor into the decision.

Pilkington's first three MLB appearances came out of the bullpen, but he drew the start Sunday since the Guardians had a doubleheader Saturday. The southpaw required 83 pitches to get through 3.2 innings, but he struck out six against the Blue Jays' potent offense. Pilkington will likely return to the minors or take on a bullpen role following Sunday's start, but he'll be a candidate to serve as a spot starter on other occasions this year.
