Beeks allowed one run on four hits and two walks over four innings during Saturday's 10-9 loss to the Blue Jays. He struck out one and did not factor in the decision.

Beeks kept the Blue Jays scoreless through his first two innings as bulk reliever, but he was nicked for a single run in the sixth on a Brandon Drury RBI single. He bounced back to deliver a scoreless seventh inning before being removed after 73 pitches. The 26-year-old has a 3.61 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 59:27 K:BB over 72.1innings this season and lines up to pitch Thursday in Boston.

Kittredge struck out seven and allowed two runs on five hits and no walks over three innings in Saturday's 10-9 loss to the Blue Jays.

Serving as the opener, Kittredge gave up two runs on a Randal Grichuk double and a Cavan Biggio home run before completing a scoreless third inning. Nevertheless, the 29-year-old recorded seven strikeouts out of his nine outs, and he now has an impressive 26:6 K:BB over 20.2 innings. The right-hander has been effective and should continue to get plenty of work out of the Rays bullpen.

Borucki allowed six runs on eight hits, two walks and three strikeouts over two innings in a no-decision against the Rays on Saturday.

Borucki wriggled out of trouble in the first inning by inducing a double play after loading the bases with one out. However, the left-hander gave up three-run homers in the second to both Travis d'Arnaud and Willy Adames. The 25-year-old was making just his second appearance of this season, and he has struggled out of the gate with a 10.80 ERA, 3.15 WHIP and a 6:6 K:BB in his first 6.2 innings. Borucki will look to improve during his next start against the Orioles at Camden Yards next Thursday.

Manager AJ Hinch said the Astros are considering putting Pressly (knee) on the injured list, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Pressly missed time earlier in the week due to a bruised knee, and he didn't look quite right in his return to action Friday, allowing three runs on two hits and a walk before exiting without recording an out. He's apparently still dealing with some soreness, though the Astros aren't sure if the issue is serious enough for him to require a stay on the injured list at this point. How Pressly responds to treatment in the coming days will likely determine whether he lands on the IL or not.

Peters was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake to start Saturday's game against the Orioles, Maria Torres of the Los Angeles Times reports.

The Angels have yet to announce a corresponding roster move, but it will have to involve a player going to the injured list, as Peters was sent to the minors less than 10 days ago (Tuesday). The lefty performed well in his most recent spot start for the big club, firing five scoreless innings while striking out four and earning the win against the Mariners last weekend.

Sadzeck (elbow) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Saturday.

Sadzeck is not yet throwing off a mound, so he is at least several weeks away from returning. This move does not affect his timetable, as he has already been sidelined since June 2.

Betances (lat) could advance to mound work next week, Lindsey Adler of The Athletic reports.

He most recently threw from 90 feet Thursday and continues to ramp up. It is unclear when Betances might return to the big-league bullpen, but it seems like a mid-to-late-August return would be the best-case scenario.

Loaisiga (shoulder) will head out on a rehab assignment following Saturday's side session and will pitch out of the big-league bullpen when he is activated from the 10-day injured list, Lindsey Adler of The Athletic reports.

The key news here is that Loaisiga won't be an option to enter the big-league rotation, severely limiting his fantasy value going forward in 2019. He has not pitched in a game since May 8, so it may be a lengthy rehab assignment by relief-pitcher standards.

Diekman was traded from the Royals to the Athletics on Saturday, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.

He was highly sought after in a market where late-inning arms are at a premium, and Oakland must have stepped up with a solid offer to get the Royals to move him with a few days remaining before the deadline. Diekman has a 3.36 FIP (4.75 ERA), 1.34 FIP and 63:23 K:BB in 41.2 innings. He slots in as the clear top left-handed reliever in Oakland's bullpen.

Johnson (infection) could start next Saturday against the Yankees, Bill Koch of The Providence Journal reports.

The southpaw has recorded a 10:2 K:BB over five innings during his rehab assignment, and it appears that a return to the Red Sox could come late next week as the team prepares for a doubleheader against the Yankees on Saturday. In seven major-league appearances (two starts) this season, Johnson has recorded a 6.43 ERA with a 13:6 K:BB over 14 innings. Saturday's start would only be a spot start for the 28-year-old before returning to his role as a middle reliever.
