Brasier allowed two runs on three hits in Tuesday's 8-5 win over the Orioles.

Brasier entered the game in the eighth inning in a non-save situation and promptly made it a save opportunity for Matt Barnes, who converted his third of the season. Brasier has allowed runs in each of his last two outings, giving up five runs (four earned) on five hits over one inning.

The Rays recalled Pruitt from Triple-A Durham ahead of Wednesday's game against the Diamondbacks, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Pruitt was with the Rays exactly one week ago, but his stay with the big club lasted just one day while he served as the 26th man for the team's doubleheader with the Royals. He'll offer some length out of the bullpen in his latest stint in the majors but could be sent back to Triple-A whenever the Rays require a fresh relief arm.

Leclerc did not allow a hit, walked one and struck out one over two scoreless innings in Tuesday's 5-4 loss to Pittsburgh.

This was Leclerc's second appearance since being demoted out of the closer's role and both have been scoreless. He's struck out three and walked one over those two outings -- important first steps as he looks to reclaim the closer job.

McHugh (3-4) took the loss Tuesday as the Astros fell 12-2 to the Royals, coughing up eight runs on seven hits and three walks over three-plus innings while striking out three.

The right-hander served up two more homers, including a Ryan O'Hearn grand slam in the third inning, continuing a problem that's been destroying his numbers in recent starts. McHugh has now been taken deep eight times in his last 18 innings over four outings, sending his ERA soaring from 1.96 to 6.37 and leaving fantasy GMs who expected a breakout from him this season shaking their heads. He'll try to turn things around and keep the ball in the park in his next start Sunday, at home against the Rangers.

Robles earned the save by allowing one hit during a scoreless ninth inning to close out Tuesday's win over the Tigers. He struck out one and did not issue a walk.

Ty Buttrey pitched the eighth inning Tuesday and Robles received the ninth as the pair continues to split high-leverage work for the Angels. Robles has a 4.24 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 20:5 K:BB across 17 innings and has converted all three of his save chances thus far.

Stanek allowed one hit and had four strikeouts over two scoreless innings as the opener against the Diamondbacks on Tuesday.

Stanek allowed three runs and took the loss in his previous appearance as an opener last week, but was dominant Tuesday as he threw 23 of 33 pitches for strikes. The Rays have three off days within the next two weeks, so manager Kevin Cash can pick and choose when next to utilize an opener. Stanek has a 2.50 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 18:4 K:BB across 18 innings.

Beeks (2-0) earned the win Tuesday against the Diamondbacks by allowing one run on three hits over 3.1 innings. He struck out three and did not issue a walk.

Beeks entered to start the third inning after opener Ryne Stanek and continues to pitch well when utilized as a bulk reliever. The 25-year-old has a 2.48 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 29:10 K:BB through 21 innings to begin the season.

Rogers secured the save Tuesday against the Blue Jays by allowing two hits in a scoreless ninth inning. He had one strikeout and no walks.

Rogers certainly made things interesting Tuesday as the tying run came to the plate with two outs, but he was able to force a groundout to close out the game unscathed. The 28-year-old has converted all four of his save opportunities and has a 1.72 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 22:4 K:BB over 15.2 innings, proving to be a reliable alternative to regular closer Blake Parker when called upon.

Barnes had one strikeout and one walk over 1.1 scoreless innings to earn the save in Tuesday's 8-5 win at Baltimore.

Barnes entered with two outs in the eighth inning and the tying run on base, but escaped with a strikeout. The Red Sox tacked on a pair of insurance runs in the ninth inning to make it a relatively easy save for the 28-year-old. Barnes has a 1.88 ERA, 0.77 WHIP and 27:4 K:BB over 14.1 innings, and should continue to be utilized as a high-leverage option by manager Alex Cora.

Manaea (shoulder) threw a 20-pitch bullpen session Tuesday, his first since last September's surgery, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Manager Bob Melvin remarked that Manaea's session consisted solely of fastballs and went off without a hitch. It's an encouraging first step in what's expected to be a relatively extensive rehab process for the southpaw, and he'll likely repeat the process at some point toward the end of the week.
