  • Tanner Scott RP | LAD

Orioles' Tanner Scott: Back with Orioles

Scott was recalled from Triple-A Norfolk on Wednesday.

With Darren O'Day landing on the 10-day disabled list with a hyperextended elbow, Scott will take his place on the roster and in the Orioles' bullpen for the time being. In a pair of brief stints with the big club this season, Scott has produced a 5.79 ERA and 5:1 K:BB across 4.2 innings. He'll likely be used in lower-leverage spots during his time with the Orioles.

  • Tommy Kahnle RP | BOS

Yankees' Tommy Kahnle: Tosses 20-pitch bullpen

Kahnle (shoulder) felt "great" following a 20-pitch bullpen session Wednesday, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Kahnle has been sidelined since the middle of May due to right shoulder tendinitis, but he believes that he will be back in action before the end of the month after mixing in a variety of different pitches during Wednesday's session. This marked the first time he was able to get back on the mound, so expect him to partake in a couple more bullpens before facing hitters in live batting practice.

  • Lou Trivino RP | PHI

Athletics' Lou Trivino: Another impressive outing Tuesday

Trivino fired 1.1 scoreless innings in a loss to the Astros on Tuesday, allowing two hits while recording two strikeouts.

Trivino continues rolling along against big-league bats, with Tuesday's outing lowering his ERA to 0.75. The 26-year-old right-hander has posted scoreless efforts in eight of his nine appearances overall, and Tuesday's marked his fourth with multiple strikeouts. Given his performance thus far, it's likely Trivino continues to see an increase in high-leverage opportunities.

  • Rangers' Ricardo Rodriguez: Moves to Triple-A

Rodriguez (elbow) will continue his rehab assignment with Triple-A Round Rock, Levi Weaver of The Athletic reports.

Rodriguez appeared in three games for Double-A Frisco in May, allowing one earned run with a 0.67 WHIP, but more importantly, he did not report any pain in his elbow. If all goes well with Round Rock, Rodriguez should be reinstated from the 60-day DL around the end of this month.

  • Ryne Stanek RP | STL

Rays' Ryne Stanek: Mows them down in '18 debut

Stanek fired 1.2 scoreless innings in a loss to the Braves on Tuesday, issuing two walks while recording four strikeouts.

The hard-throwing right-hander had some control issues, but he also flashed his trademark strikeout upside. Stanek had posted an impressive 17:6 K:BB over 9.1 innings with Durham prior to his recent callup, and his high-90s fastball could afford him an extended stay with the big-league club.

  • Tigers' Warwick Saupold: Returns from hamstring tightness

Saupold has returned from minor hamstring tightness, and has a 2.45 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 5:6 K:BB in 11 innings out of the Tigers bullpen this season.

The strikeouts and walks suggest Saupold is fortunate to boast his current ratios. He is typically used in low-leverage spots and has minimal fantasy value.

  • Chris Martin RP | TEX

Rangers' Chris Martin: Throws off mound

Martin (forearm) threw off a mound Tuesday, T.R. Sullivan of MLB.com reports.

This was Martin's first activity since being placed on the disabled list with irritation in his right forearm. The Rangers are hopeful the right-hander will not require an extended period of downtime.

  • Matt Moore RP | BOS

Rangers' Matt Moore: Will start Sunday

Moore will pitch on schedule Sunday against the Astros, T.R. Sullivan of MLB.com reports.

Moore's status became uncertain after he was rocked in his last two starts, upping his season ERA to 7.71. Manager Jeff Banister confirmed no changes to the rotation, so the left-hander will take the ball on schedule. Fantasy owners in deep leagues will need to decide if a start against the Astros' powerful lineup is worth it.

  • Chris Devenski RP | NYM

Astros' Chris Devenski: Records seventh hold Tuesday

Devenski pitched a perfect eighth inning to record his seventh hold of the season in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Athletics.

Devenski leads the Astros' bullpen in holds as he's been used in a more traditional way this season compared to 2017. He's pitched more than one inning just twice in his 15 appearances after being a multi-inning monster last year. After the 27-year-old right-hander posted his 13th scoreless outing Tuesday, Devenski has a 1.20 ERA with an 18:4 K:BB over 15 innings.

  • Ken Giles RP | ATL

Astros' Ken Giles: Records fourth save Tuesday

Giles pitched a scoreless ninth for the save in Tuesday's win over the A's, allowing one hit and zero walks while striking out one.

In his first appearance since the blown save against the Yankees, Giles looked sharp, retiring the A's on 11 pitches (nine strikes). Giles is 4-for-4 in save chances, and has recorded nine strikeouts against zero walks in 11.1 innings. His ERA is inflated from the one bad outing, while the rest of his numbers are pretty solid.
