Collin McHugh RP | ATL
Astros' Collin McHugh: Suffers from lack of run support in Saturday loss
McHugh (7-10) gave up three earned runs on five hits and two walks over 5.1 innings in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Blue Jays. He struck out six.
The veteran righty gave up a solo homer in the first to Josh Donaldson before settling down until the sixth. McHugh gave up back-to-back singles to Edwin Encarnacion and Michael Saunders before giving way to reliever James Hoyt, who promptly surrendered a three-run homer to Russell Martin that proved to be the difference in the game. McHugh has now dropped four straight decisions despite mustering quality starts in two of those outings. He'll try to get back in the win column when he faces the Orioles next Friday.

Matt Andriese RP | MIA
Rays' Matt Andriese: Done in by long ball in Saturday loss
Andriese (6-4) struck out eight but gave up six earned runs on eight hits on five innings in Saturday's 8-4 loss to the Yankees.
The righty's stat line was somewhat unusual, given the fact he surrendered four homers but also recorded a season high in strikeouts. Andriese fired 56 of 76 pitches for strkies, and notched 13 swinging strikes overall. However, he also gave up back-to-back homers to call-ups Tyler Austin and Aaron Judge in the second, followed by a solo shot by Starlin Castro in the fourth. Aaron Hicks then put a cap on Andriese's forgettable start with a three-run blast in the fifth that plated Judge and Jacoby Ellsbury, sending him to his fourth loss in his last four decisions. The 26-year-old will try to rebound when takes on the Rangers next Friday.

Kimbrel retired the Diamondbacks in order to earn his 19th save of the season. He also had a strikeout.
In addition to the strikeout, Kimbrel induced a fly out and ground out. It was his first perfect inning since Aug. 4 and first save since Aug. 1. He is 19-for-21 in save opportunities with a 3.41 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 58 strikeouts in 37 innings.

Buddy Boshers RP | HOU
Twins' Buddy Boshers: No structural damage in elbow
Boshers (elbow) underwent an MRI exam, which showed no structural damage, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Boshers was placed on the disabled list Thursday for the first time in his major league career. The Twins want to get him throwing within two weeks, but first need to see the inflammation in his left elbow calm down.

Nick Burdi RP | NYM
Twins' Nick Burdi: Hopes to return before season's end
Burdi (bruised humerus) continues to throw bullpen sessions and hopes to take the mound before the end of the minor league season, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
He has been sidelined since Apr. 28, and even if he does return in a couple weeks, this will still be chalked up to a lost season for the hard-throwing reliever. Burdi is a good candidate to return to the Arizona Fall League this year to get some work in before spring training.

Dellin Betances RP | LAD
Yankees' Dellin Betances: Secures fourth save of season with perfect ninth
Betances notched his fourth save of the season in Friday's 6-3 victory over the Rays, striking out the side in a perfect ninth inning.
The new closer was at it again, needing only 12 pitches, nine of which he threw for strikes, to dispose of the Rays in the ninth. It marked the second straight night in which Betances struck out the side, and he has at least two strikeouts in five straight appearances. The 28-year-old has been stellar since taking over the closer's job following the trades of Aroldis Chapman and Andrew Miller, converting all four of his save opportunties since the beginning of August.

Sean Manaea SP | NYM
Athletics' Sean Manaea: Notches win in strong outing Friday against Mariners
Manaea earned his fourth win of the year Friday against Seattle, allowing three runs over six innings while striking out four.
Manaea had a no-hitter through the first four innings, but a solo homer by Kyle Seager leading off the fifth ended that. Manaea stumbled a bit in the sixth allowing two runs, but turned in a very strong outing overall, giving up only three hits over his six innings. After a rough start to his rookie year that saw his ERA over six after his first nine starts, Manaea has allowed three runs or fewer in six of his last seven starts to lower his ERA to 4.57. Manaea will next take the hill Wednesday at the Rangers.

Tony Zych RP | NYY
Mariners' Tony Zych: Begins rehab assignment in AZL
Zych (shoulder) began a rehab assignment in the Arizona Rookie League on Friday, MLB.com's Greg Johns reports.
He gave up one unearned run but did not give up a hit while walking one over an inning Friday. Considering he is beginning the rehab assignment in the AZL, it could be a somewhat lengthy run through the Mariners' minor league affiliates before Zych is activated. He has electric stuff when he is healthy, but Edwin Diaz is the unquestioned closer for Seattle going forward.

Donnie Hart RP | BAL
Orioles' Donnie Hart: Recalled by Orioles

Warwick Saupold RP | DET
Tigers' Warwick Saupold: Recalled by Tigers on Friday
Saupold was recalled by the Tigers on Friday.
Saupold's whirlwind week continued Friday as he will end up staying with the Tigers Friday after having been recalled Wednesday only to be optioned Thursday evening. He'll take the roster spot of the injured Jose Iglesias, but it's possible that Saupold will be sent back down shortly in order for the Tigers to call up a viable middle infield option.
