Michael Fulmer RP | NYY
Tigers' Michael Fulmer: Tosses gem Wednesday against Angels
Fulmer (5-1) took a no-hitter into the seventh inning in Wednesday's win against the Angels. He pitched 7.2 scoreless innings, allowing two hits and two walks while striking out eight.
Coming into the game, Fulmer had delivered 14.2 innings of one-run ball with 14 strikeouts over his last two outings. He continued his dominant ways Wednesday, shutting down an Angels lineup that scored 11 runs on 17 hits in their previous game. The right-hander is learning how to use his changeup more effectively, and has certainly earned a long-term spot in Detroit's rotation. The 23-year-old will take a 3.24 ERA into his next start on Monday against the Blue Jays.

Joe Kelly RP | LAD
Red Sox's Joe Kelly: Crushed in no-decision against Orioles
Kelly (2-0) pitched 2.1 innings, allowing seven runs, seven hits and three walks while striking out one in Wednesday's game against the Orioles. He did not factor in the decision.
Since the right-hander returned from the DL (shoulder) on May 21, he's been inconsistent. In his first start back on May 21 against the Indians, Kelly flirted with a no-hitter. However, in his ensuing start on May 27 against the Blue Jays, Kelly lasted just 4.2 innings and gave up five runs on nine hits (including two home runs). Wednesday, he once again was knocked around pretty good, but luckily escaped without suffering his first loss of the season. The 27-year-old will take an 8.46 ERA and a 2.24 WHIP into his next start on Tuesday against the Orioles.

Sean Manaea SP | NYM
Athletics' Sean Manaea: Strikes out eight and allows one run in six innings
Manaea (2-3) allowed just one run on five hits over six innings in a 5-1 victory over the Twins on Wednesday. He also struck out eight and walked three.
The left-hander had a few rocky outings once he made his MLB debut at the end of April, but he has a respectable 3.55 ERA and a 2.37 K/BB over his last three starts. Manaea has also allowed just one homer in his last 25.1 innings. In his first 12.2 frames in the big leagues, he tossed up four long balls. Manaea is scheduled to make his next start Tuesday against the Brewers.

Brad Boxberger RP | CHC
Rays' Brad Boxberger: Out 4-to-8 weeks
Boxberger has been diagnosed with a strained left oblique and will be out 4-to-8 weeks, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
After re-aggravating his surgically repaired abdomen on Tuesday, Boxberger was subsequently placed on the disabled list Wednesday. Following a session with team doctors it was determined he strained his left oblique. He has been given a rather vague time frame of 4-to-8 weeks before returning, but the team should have a much better sense of his recovery after the first week or so.

Brad Boxberger RP | CHC
Rays' Brad Boxberger: Receives oblique checkup by team doctors
Boxberger could miss at least a month if his injury is indeed to his left oblique, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Boxberger re-aggravated his surgically repaired abdomen Tuesday and was placed on the 15-day DL Wednesday. It's not yet known what the doctor's diagnosis is for his midsection but the Rays are saying that if it's an oblique strain, like they think, he will be out for at least a month.

Ashur Tolliver RP | SEA
Orioles' Ashur Tolliver: Optioned to Triple-A
Tolliver was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk on Wednesday, Rich Dubroff of CSN Mid Atlantic reports.
The Orioles swapped out lefty relievers Wednesday by optioning Tolliver and recalling T.J. McFarland from Triple-A Norfolk. Tolliver performed ably in three of his four outings during his stint with the big league club, but his meltdown that resulted in three runs over .2 innings Monday may have forced manager Buck Showalter's hand. He'll head back to Triple-A, but he could return to the Orioles down the line if they need another lefty out of the bullpen.

Shawn Armstrong RP | CLE
Indians' Shawn Armstrong: Optioned to Triple-A
Armstrong was optioned to Triple-A Columbus on Wednesday.
Armstrong had a brief, one-day stint with the Indians during his most recent call-up before being sent back down Wednesday. He threw one inning in relief Tuesday, allowing one run on two hits against the Rangers. He'll head back to the bullpen at Columbus and figures to be a candidate to be recalled down the line if the Indians need a fresh arm.

Chad Girodo RP | LAD
Blue Jays' Chad Girodo: Optioned to Triple-A Wednesday
Giordo was optioned to Triple-A Buffalo on Wednesday.
Giordo was decent in his short 11-game stint with the Blue Jays, posting a 4.32 ERA and 1.32 WHIP in just over eight innings. The 25-year-old will return to Triple-A until he is needed at the big league level again.

Brad Boxberger RP | CHC
Rays' Brad Boxberger: Placed on 15-day disabled list
Boxberger was placed on the 15-day DL on Wednesday with a left oblique injury.
This is unfortunate but expected news for Boxberger as the the reliever aggravated his abdomen in his first appearance of the season Tuesday. He was on the shelf for the first two months of the season as he recovered from offseason surgery to repair a core muscle injury, and he is again having trouble with his midsection. With Boxberger back on the DL, Alex Colome figures to see most of the save opportunities for the foreseeable future.

Greg Mahle RP | LAA
Angels' Greg Mahle: Hits rough patch in May
Mahle gave up six earned runs in 8.2 innings during the month of May.
After a strong start to his rookie season, Mahle has seen his numbers swell and he now sits with a 4.02 ERA and 1.60 WHIP on the season. Opponents have put together a .276/.391/.379 line against Mahle, with much of that damage coming from his lack of control, as he's walked nine batters in just 15.2 innings. However, because four of the seven runs he's allowed came in just a 4.1-inning span, the Angels will likely be patient with Mahle and see if he can recover before sending him back down to Triple-A Salt Lake.
