Phillippe Aumont RP | TOR
White Sox's Phillippe Aumont: Signs Minor League Deal With White Sox
Aumont signed a minor league deal with the White Sox on Monday, Josh Norris of Baseball America reports.
Aumont once rated as a top-100 prospect and was included in a Clif Lee trade, but he has yet to do much in his 46 career major league appearances, and he did nil in the Blue Jays' organization after signing mid-2015. He will attempt to resurrect his career in a White Sox's organization that has previously revived previously-heralded arms.

Liam Hendriks RP | CHC
Athletics' Liam Hendriks: Traded to Oakland
Hendriks was traded to the A's in exchange for Jesse Chavez on Friday, FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports.
He was excellent last year out of the Jays' bullpen, posting a 2.92 ERA with 71 strikeouts in 64.2 innings. That said, Hendriks doesn't figure to get many save opportunities with Sean Doolittle holding down the closer role for the A's.

Jesse Chavez RP | ATL
Blue Jays' Jesse Chavez: Traded to Blue Jays
Chavez was traded to the Blue Jays on Friday for Liam Hendriks, FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports.
The Jays have a hole in the rotation, with David Price likely heading elsewhere in free agency. Chavez has had a FIP under 4.00 in each of the last three seasons, and he pitched a career-high 157 innings in 2015 before being shut down after suffering a broken rib. It's a downgrade in ballpark for the veteran righty, but an indisputable upgrade in projected run support, so he could win double-digit games for the first time in his career.

Danny Hultzen RP | CHC
Mariners' Danny Hultzen: Designated for assignment Friday
Hultzen was designated for assignment on Friday, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.
Hultzen was out of options, so this move doesn't really come as much of a surprise. He'll likely pass through waivers unclaimed and be sent outright to the minors, where he will look to rehab his oft-injured shoulder.

Michael Fulmer RP | NYY
Tigers' Michael Fulmer: Lands on 40-man roster
Fulmer was added to the Tigers' 40-man roster Friday.
Fulmer, one of the pieces acquired through the Yoenis Cespedes trade, was excellent in his limited time with Double-A Erie, recording a 2.84 ERA and 1.09 WHIP coupled with a 33:7 K:BB in 31.2 innings. However, he's unlikely to make any noise with the Tigers this year, so it seems likely this move was made in order to protect him from being selected in the upcoming Rule 5 Draft.

Anthony Bass RP | TOR
Mariners' Anthony Bass: Traded to Mariners
Bass was traded from the Rangers to the Mariners on Monday.
Bass will provide the Mariners with some depth out of the bullpen as an additional piece of a trade that centered around Leonys Martin and Tom Wilhelmsen. In 64 innings with the Rangers last season, the 28-year-old posted a 4.50 ERA and 1.34 WHIP with 45 strikeouts.

Craig Kimbrel RP | KC
Red Sox's Craig Kimbrel: Reportedly headed to Boston
The Padres have agreed to trade Kimbrel to the Red Sox, Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports reports.
There were rumors that the Red Sox were in the market for a new closer with 40-year-old Koji Uehara losing another tick on his fastball, and it seems they have landed their guy in Kimbrel. It's uncertain, however, who all is headed to San Diego in the deal. Kimbrel fell one save shy of 40 last season, and his 2.58 ERA was a career-worst mark, but he fanned 36.4 percent of he batters he faced and should be a top-five closer off the board come spring.

Hunter Harvey RP | CHC
Orioles' Hunter Harvey: Should be ready for spring training
Harvey (elbow) is rehabbing well and should be ready for spring training, according to GM Dave Duquette, CSN Mid-Atlantic reports.
While working his way back from a broken shin early in the year, Harvey began experiencing elbow tightness, which led to an extended shutdown period for the 2013 first-round pick. He started ramping things up later in the season, but renewed elbow discomfort forced him to shut it back down in mid-September. The O's seemed pleased with where Harvey is at, currently, though it's not entirely clear where Harvey stands in the rehab process.
