Trevor May (calf) should pitch in Futures Game
The Twins expect starting pitcher prospect Trevor May to pitch in the All-Star Futures game July 13, according to the Pioneer Press. May is on the disabled list at Triple-A Rochester with a right calf injury.
"There's plenty of time," Ryan said Sunday. "I think he's going to be all right."

Hector Santiago RP | SEA
Hector Santiago tosses four scoreless innings Saturday
Angels pitcher Hector Santiago threw four scoreless innings Saturday before having his start cut short by a lengthy weather delay in his team's 6-2 win over the Royals.
Santiago gave up four hits while striking out four and walking none in the start, but the inclement weather prevented him from nabbing his first win. He owns a 4.08 ERA and 47:21 K:BB ratio in 53 innings. Santiago will likely lose his spot in the rotation if Tyler Skaggs returns next week as expected.

Rubby De La Rosa RP | LAD
Rubby De La Rosa sent down Saturday
Red Sox pitcher Rubby De La Rosa has been sent down Saturday.
De La Rosa was demoted in order to make room for Mookie Betts. The club was expected to do whatever it could to keep De La Rosa in the rotation, but couldn't do so. He'll start Tuesday in Pawtucket, and could return to the majors sooner than expected.

Zach Putnam RP | BOS
Zach Putnam picks up a save Saturday
White Sox reliever Zach Putnam picked up a save Saturday against the Blue Jays.
The White Sox said prior to the game that they would go with a committee approach at closer, and Putnam got the first chance to succeed. He entered the game to get an out in the eighth inning, and remained in the game for the ninth.
Putnam did run into some trouble during the outing. He allowed a leadoff double to begin the ninth, and followed it up with an RBI single to cut the team's lead to just one run. Putnam was then able to retire the last three hitters without an issue. He tossed 1 1/3 innings, allowing three hits and one run.

Fernando Rodney RP | ARI
Fernando Rodney allows one run in save
Mariners closer Fernando Rodney was not perfect Friday, but he got the job done in closing out a 3-2 win over the Indians.
Rodney was given a two-run lead in the ninth, and that extra run proved key. He allowed the Indians to score once on a pair of hits, but struck out one batter in closing out the game, for his 22nd save.
Rodney is now 22 for 24 on save tries this season, to go with a 2.30 ERA in 31 1/3 innings.

Jesse Chavez RP | ATL
Jesse Chavez runs out of gas in no-decision
Athletics pitcher Jesse Chavez pitched well for five innings Friday, before hitting a wall and settling for a no-decision in a 9-5 win over the Marlins.
Chavez shut the Marlins out for five innings and seemed well on his way to another win. He simply ran out of steam in the sixth inning, as the Marlins jumped on him for five straight hits without recording an out before he was chased.
Chavez ended up allowing four runs on six hits in five innings of work, while striking out five batters and walking three. He settled for his second no-decision in a row, as the A's rallied to win, 9-5.
Chavez remains 6-4 through 16 starts, with a 2.94 ERA in 98 innings. His next start is set for Wednesday in Detroit.

Anthony Bass RP | TOR
Anthony Bass could return following weekend
Astros reliever Anthony Bass could return from the disabled list after Sunday's appearance at Class A Quad Cities, according to MLB.com.
Bass is set to throw two innings for the first time Sunday, which could be the final step in his recovery. A decision on whether to activate him will likely come Monday, depending on how he responds.
"At that point, we'll make a decision on whether we want to see more or rather he's ready to come up," general manager Jeff Luhnow said. "He's always been a guy who's able to go more than an inning for us, and we've got a lot of one-inning guys right now. We're going to need to need him to go more than an inning, so that two-inning stint is important for us."
Bass has not pitched for the Astros since May 10 due to a back injury. He had a 4.50 ERA in 18 innings of work before the injury.

Rubby De La Rosa RP | LAD
No more waiting on Rubby De La Rosa
If you've been passing up Rubby De La Rosa all this time, you're not alone. The uncertainty over his role with Felix Doubront and Clay Buchholz due to return from the DL had me hesitant to add him as well, at least in shallower leagues.
But no more. As CBSSports.com Baseball Insider Jon Heyman noted on Friday's Fantasy Baseball Today, the Red Sox will try their darndest to keep De La Rosa in the rotation, even if that means going the six-man route or, as one Red Sox beat writer suggested, moving Jake Peavy to the bullpen.
Doubront has already gotten bumped, so that's one man down.
As for De La Rosa, he can hit 100 mph with his fastball and has a developed enough secondary arsenal to make the most of it. Like most young hard-throwers, his control can get the best of him at times -- or at least it did in the minors. But so far in five big-league starts, it hasn't been an issue. Further demonstrating his dominance, he's gone seven innings or more in three of those starts, allowing a combined nine hits between them.
And he's eligible at relief pitcher, as if you needed another reason to add him in Head-to-Head points leagues.

Alex Colome RP | CHW
Alex Colome overcomes wildness to earn win
Rays starter Alex Colome racked up four walks and two wild pitches and couldn't make it out of the sixth inning in Game 1 of a doubleheader Friday in Baltimore. But that didn't prevent him from snagging his first win of the season and second of his career.
Colome was aided by double plays in both of the first two innings before settling down. He left with a five run lead after giving up just one run on two hits in 5 2/3 innings and fanning three.
If he maintains his spot in the rotation, his next start would be Wednesday against the Yankees in New York or Thursday in Detroit.

Yohan Pino RP | MIN
Yohan Pino does a boomerang and returns to Twins
Twins right-hander Yohan Pino barely had time to unpack his bags at Triple-A Rochester before he was recalled Friday to the big league club. His move was necessitated by the placing of shortstop Danny Santana on the disabled list.
Pino started twice before his demotion and gave up seven earned runs in 10 innings.
