Adams (0-2) took the extra-inning loss against the Blue Jays on Sunday, allowing three runs (two earned) on a hit, three walks, and a hit batsman over one inning. He struck out one and also uncorked a wild pitch.

Adams' one frame was about as frenetic as his final line implies, with the right-hander eventually surrendering a bases-clearing double to Isiah Kiner-Falefa that snapped the 3-3 tie the veteran reliever had been entrusted with preserving. Adams has now allowed at least one run in three of his last four appearances, a stretch that was preceded by seven consecutive scoreless outings.

Estevez (1-3) got the win over the Astros on Sunday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning and striking out a batter in the process.

Estevez was tasked with preserving a tie game, and did so without any trouble, sending the Astros hitters down in order on 12 pitches. He wound up as the winning pitcher after the Angels walked it off in the bottom of the ninth thanks to a two-run homer from Logan O'Hoppe. Estevez now has four consecutive scoreless appearances during which he's compiled three saves and a win. For the year, the 31-year-old has 10 saves to go with a 4.05 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 19:3 K:BB in 20 innings.

Hader (3-4) took the loss Sunday against the Angels after allowing two runs on two hits while striking out a batter over two-thirds of an inning.

Hader faced five total batters but only was able to record two outs. He entered with two outs in the eighth and got out of the frame. He then returned for the ninth to try and preserve a 7-7 tie and was unable to do so. Hader retired the first batter he faced but then allowed a base hit and a walk-off two-run homer to Logan O'Hoppe. It was Hader's first time allowing multiple runs in an outing since April 15 and his first loss since May 5. It's now been a full week since Hader's picked up his last save, and he sits at nine for the year after tallying 30-plus in each of his last four full seasons. He owns a 4.08 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 46:10 K:BB in 28.2 innings thus far.

Suarez is scheduled to start Tuesday's game against the Diamondbacks at Chase Field.

Suarez made 58 starts for the Angels over the past five seasons, but after losing out in a battle for a rotation spot in spring training, he's been working exclusively as a reliever in 2024 and has posted a 6.54 ERA, 1.67 WHIP and 34:20 K:BB in 31.2 innings. He won't be moving into the rotation on merit, but he'll nonetheless slot into the starting spot that had been previously occupied by the struggling Reid Detmers, who was recently demoted to Triple-A Salt Lake. Even if Suarez acquits himself well in a starting role Tuesday, he could be headed back to the bullpen immediately thereafter with Chase Silseth (elbow) nearing a return from the 60-day injured list.

Pearson gave up a run on two hits while striking out one in an inning of relief Sunday to record his third hold of the season in an extra-inning win over the A's.

Brent Rooker tagged him for a solo shot, narrowing the Blue Jays' lead to 2-1, but Pearson otherwise held Oakland at bay. The right-hander has seen more high-leverage work of late with Jordan Romano (elbow) sidelined, producing all three of his holds since May 27, and over six appearances during that time Pearson has posted a 3.38 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 8:1 K:BB.

Garcia (3-0) struck out one in a perfect inning Sunday to pick up the win over Oakland.

The Blue Jays won 6-3 in the 10th inning, handing Garcia the victory after he preserved the tie in the ninth. The right-hander has either a win or a save in four straight appearances, and he's been Toronto's next high-leverage option this season, posting a 2.08 ERA, 0.69 WHIP and 34:7 K:BB through 26 innings with nine holds and four saves in addition to his three wins.

Fairbanks allowed one hit and struck out one across a scoreless inning Sunday against the Orioles.

Fairbanks last pitched Wednesday, so he entered the game in the ninth inning Sunday even with the Rays down by seven runs. Though it was a low-leverage situation, Fairbanks now hasn't allowed a run across 13 innings while maintaining a 13:2 K:BB since returning from the injured list May 11.

Romano (elbow) is expected to resume throwing Monday, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

The right-hander will throw from flat ground and stretch out to 150 feet before beginning mound work. The Blue Jays are proceeding cautiously with their closer after he received an anti-inflammatory injection June 2, but Romano might still be able to avoid a rehab stint before being activated from the injured list.

Holmes picked up the save Sunday against the Dodgers. He pitched a scoreless ninth but allowed two hits and struck out a batter.

Holmes quickly got the first two outs of the inning but then ran into some trouble after allowing back-to-back base hits to bring Mookie Betts up to the plate. Holmes was able to get Betts to whiff on a slider to end the game and pick up his 19th save. Holmes is now tied with Emmanuel Clase for second in baseball in saves. He's been excellent this season, posting a 1.23 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 29:8 K:BB in 29.1 innings.

McArthur (2-3) allowed three runs (two earned) on two hits and two walks while striking out one over two-thirds of an inning to take the extra-inning loss versus the Mariners on Sunday.

McArthur's tumultuous pitching continued after a brief three-inning scoreless streak to begin June. He got into trouble in the 10th inning Sunday, allowing an RBI single to Julio Rodriguez and a two-run single to Cal Raleigh. The Royals nearly overcame it with another comeback push, but that fell short. McArthur has given up multiple runs five times this season, with four of those outings coming since the start of May. He's at a 5.27 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 24:5 K:BB through 27.1 innings while adding 12 saves in 16 chances. While he's generally kept decent control, he's giving up too much contact to be reliable, though the same can be said for a majority of the Royals' relievers.
