The Diamondbacks designated Misiewicz for assignment Monday.

Misiewicz will be removed from a team's 40-man roster for the third time in 2023 after the Royals and Cardinals previously designated him for assignment. The 28-year-old lefty reliever was recently reinstated from the 15-day injured list after missing time with a calf strain. If Misiewicz isn't traded elsewhere or goes unclaimed off waivers, he'll likely remain in the Diamondbacks organization as relief depth at Triple-A Reno.

The Diamondbacks reinstated Mantiply (hamstring) from the 15-day injured list Monday.

The 2022 All-Star will rejoin the Arizona bullpen after he had been on the shelf for just over a month with a right hamstring strain. Maniply received the green light to return from the IL after making a pair of minor-league rehab appearances last week.

The Brewers promoted Uribe from Double-A Biloxi to Triple-A Nashville on Monday.

The right-hander will head to the International League after he dazzled over his 15 relief appearances at Biloxi, striking out 28 in 15 innings while allowing just three earned runs and 17 baserunners. Uribe already possesses a spot on the Brewers' 40-man roster, so it's not out of the realm of possibility for him to join the big-league bullpen by the end of the season if he continues to thrive with Nashville.

The Giants optioned Beck to Triple-A Sacramento on Sunday.

Beck covered 4.1 innings over two relief appearances during the Giants' series with the Cubs this past weekend and wasn't likely to be available for the next couple of days, so San Francisco opted to swap him off the 26-man active roster for a fresh relief arm in Keaton Winn, who was called up from Triple-A. During his upcoming stint with Sacramento, Beck is expected to transition back into a starting role in the event he's needed in the San Francisco rotation later in 2023.

The Giants recalled Winn from Triple-A Sacramento on Monday.

Winn has made nine of his 12 appearances with Sacramento this season as a starter, but he's expected to operate as a multi-inning option out of the bullpen during his upcoming stint with the big club. After being added to the Giants' 40-man roster over the winter, the 25-year-old right-hander submitted a 4.35 ERA and 1.65 WHIP while striking out 51 over 41.1 innings at Sacramento to earn his first call to the majors.

St. Louis placed Helsley on the 15-day injured list Monday with a right forearm strain.

Helsley didn't make an appearance over the weekend versus the Reds even as some situations seemed to dictate he should be used. The injury provides an explanation for why Helsley wasn't used, and while the Cardinals haven't provided a timeline for his return, his diagnosis of a forearm strain would seem to portend an extended absence. Giovanny Gallegos will be the odds-on favorite to close for St. Louis while Helsley is on the shelf.

Lawrence (3-3) allowed one run (none earned) on one hit and two walks to earn the win Sunday against the Padres.

Lawrence entered the game in the top of the ninth inning with the score tied at 3-3. He wasn't hit hard but struggled with his command by allowing a run to score on a wild pitch. While he was rewarded with a victory, Lawrence has stumbled since taking over as the presumptive closer in Colorado, as he's allowed four runs (three earned) across his last 5.1 frames while maintaining only a 4:3 K:BB.

Winn is headed to St. Louis to join the Giants for their series against the Cardinals, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports.

Baggarly writes that Winn will be with the team "in some capacity," so it's unclear at this point whether he'll be recalled or joining the taxi squad. Winn has never pitched in the majors but was added to the 40-man roster over the offseason. He holds a 4.35 ERA and 51:21 K:BB over 41.1 innings with Triple-A Sacramento in 2023, making nine starts and three relief appearances.

Ferguson (3-3) took the loss Sunday, allowing a run on three hits over one inning against Philadelphia. He struck out two.

Serving as the opener Sunday, Ferguson allowed three consecutive one-out singles, putting the Dodgers in an early 1-0 hole. Following a stretch of 17 scoreless appearances, the 26-year-old southpaw has now allowed at least one run in five of his last six outings, sporting a 15.43 ERA over 4.2 innings in that span. Ferguson's ERA is up to 3.91 through 23 innings this season with a 1.48 WHIP and 27:10 K:BB.

Bednar picked up the save Sunday against the Mets, recording a strikeout in a scoreless ninth inning.

After allowing two runs in mop-up work Friday, Bednar returned to form Sunday to close out the Pirates' 2-1 win. The two runs allowed in his last outing were the first Bednar had surrendered since May 22. The 28-year-old right-hander is now 14-for-15 in save chances with a stellar 1.78 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and an impeccable 31:1 K:BB through 25.1 innings. He's gone 20.1 innings since issuing a walk.
