Jackson was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday.

Jackson made his big-league debut Monday as the primary pitcher for Los Angeles, and he delivered four scoreless frames while allowing two hits with five strikeouts and four walks. Jackson figures to be in the mix to rejoin the Dodgers down the stretch, but he'll head back to the minors for the time being.

Phillips was added to the Dodgers' 26-man roster prior to Tuesday's game against the Pirates.

The Dodgers claimed Phillips off waivers from Tampa Bay on Monday, and now the right-hander will be active for Tuesday's matchup with Pittsburgh. Phillips made just one appearance with the Rays this season, allowing one one across three innings. He owns a career major-league ERA of 7.26, so it seems very unlikely that he'll pitch in any high-leverage innings going forward.

Voth (undisclosed) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Rochester on Tuesday, Jesse Dougherty of The Washington Post reports.

Voth has been on the COVID-19 injured list since late July. He's pitched almost exclusively as a reliever this season, which may mean he doesn't need a particularly lengthy rehab assignment.

Antone (forearm) could return from the injured list next Tuesday, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports.

A strained forearm has kept Antone on the shelf since late June. He's already made four rehab appearances, striking out six while allowing a run on two hits and three walks over 3.2 innings of work. He's had two full days off between each outing, however, so the Reds want him to throw on back-to-back days before he's cleared to return.

Santillan was called up by Cincinnati on Tuesday.

Santillan has struck out 30 batters in 23.1 innings at the highest level this season but owns a mediocre 4.24 ERA. He'll take the bullpen spot that had been occupied by Heath Hembree, who was designated for assignment.

Alzolay (hamstring) did some light jogging and agility work Tuesday, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.

Alzolay hit the injured list with a strained left hamstring Saturday, but he's already making encouraging progress. He played catch Monday before testing his hamstring more directly Tuesday. Whether or not he'll return after the minimum 10 days remains to be seen.

Jackson pitched four scoreless innings against Pittsburgh on Monday, allowing two hits and four walks while striking out five. He did not factor in the decision.

After Justin Bruihl opened for the Dodgers with a scoreless frame, Jackson took over and tossed four scoreless innings of his own. He struggled with his control, throwing only 39 of 71 pitches for strikes and issuing four free passes, but the right-hander was able to work around the wildness. Per Eric Stephen of SBNation.com Jackson's scoreless debut was the 16th in Dodgers history of at least four innings. It remains to be seen how Los Angeles will utilize Jackson moving forward. Although it's possible that he heads back down to the minors, his strong first impression and the team's current health issues in the rotation could provide an opportunity for Jackson to stick with the big club.

Howard (oblique) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Indianapolis on Tuesday, Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Howard has missed over a month with a strained right oblique. It's unclear how many rehab appearances he'll need to make, but he doesn't need to build up a high pitch count as a reliever, so he could be back before too long.

Atlanta optioned Webb to Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday.

Webb's demotion clears a spot on the active roster for starting pitcher Huascar Ynoa (hand), who was reinstated from the 60-day injured list ahead of his scheduled outing Tuesday in Miami. During his four-day stint with the big club, Webb made two appearances out of the Atlanta bullpen, tossing a scoreless frame in both outings.

Castro (3-4) took the loss in Monday's 7-5 defeat at the hands of San Francisco, allowing two runs on two hits with two strikeouts in 1.1 innings.

Castro relieved Rich Hill with two on and two out in the fourth and induced a Tommy La Stella lineout to escape the threat, but he surrendered a Kris Bryant two-run home run in the fifth to fall in line for the loss. The earned runs were the first in August so far for Castro, who now has 3.38 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 56:29 K:BB in 50.2 innings this season.
