Garcia gave up a hit and struck out one in a scoreless ninth inning Saturday to record his 13th save of the season in a 3-2 win over Atlanta.

After a brief rough patch in late May and early June, Garcia has bounced back in impressive fashion, posting a 2.25 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 9:1 K:BB over his last eight innings while converting all four of his save chances. The 30-year-old remains locked into the closer role for Miami.

Bard pitched a scoreless ninth inning, giving up one hit and one walk while striking out two to earn the save over the Cardinals on Saturday.

It was not the cleanest save for Bard, as he allowed a runner on second and third with two outs before striking out Dylan Carlson to end the game. The 36-year-old is 12-for-17 in save opportunities and has 12 of the Rockies' 14 saves. He has a 4.08 ERA and a 1.56 WHIP in 35.1 innings. Over his last four appearances, Bard has fired four scoreless innings and notched six strikeouts, picking up a pair of saves and a win.

Cabrera (1-3) allowed three earned runs on two hits and a walk while striking out one across one inning, taking the loss against the Rockies on Saturday.

Cabrera entered the game with one out in the seventh inning. He allowed the first three runs of the game after surrendering a three-run homer to Trevor Story. Saturday was the first time he's allowed three runs in one appearance this season. The 24-year-old has a 3.23 ERA and a 1.31 WHIP with 45 strikeouts over 39 innings.

Leone (2-0) earned the win in Saturday's 6-5 triumph over the Diamondbacks, allowing a walk with two strikeouts in one inning.

Leone pitched an easy seventh inning and was put in line for the win after Austin Slater smashed a two-run homer in the top of the eighth to give San Francisco a lead it wouldn't relinquish. The righty hasn't allowed a run in his last 12.1 innings and owns a sparkling 1.17 ERA on the season.

Long went four innings during Saturday's 6-5 victory over Arizona, allowing four runs on seven hits and one walk with six strikeouts. He didn't factor into the decision.

Long was able to endure the game's first two innings unscathed but surrendered two runs apiece in the third and fourth frames and was removed with 84 pitches. This was the lefty's fifth start, and while he's allowed four runs or less in each outing he's averaging less than five innings per start. His season ERA sits at 5.63.

Jansen earned the save over the Nationals on Saturday, allowing one hit and one walk while striking out two over a scoreless inning.

The right-hander had to sweat a bit in the outing, as he allowed the first two batters he faced to reach base. However, Jansen bounced back with a pair of strikeouts before getting Josh Bell on a lineout to end the game. The veteran closer has gone nearly two months without a blown save and has posted a sterling 1.34 ERA overall this season. Though he is on pace for a career-worst 5.6 BB/9, Jansen is thriving by holding batters to a .111 batting average.

Alzolay (4-8) took the loss Saturday as the Cubs fell 3-2 to the Reds, allowing three runs on five hits and a walk over seven innings. He struck out six.

The young right-hander put together one of his best outings of the season, completing seven innings for only the second time while delivering his fourth quality start, but a lack of run support led him to his fourth straight loss. Alzolay will carry a 4.48 ERA and 76:21 K:BB through 72.1 innings into his next trip to the mound.

Alexander (shoulder) is expected to be activated from the injured list Monday or Tuesday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Alexander was one of the Dodgers' better relievers in April, posting a 2.31 ERA in 11.2 innings of work before getting injured at the start of May. Once activated, he's likely to play a considerable role as one of the bullpen's best left-handed options.

Uceta will be reinstated by the Dodgers ahead of Sunday's game against the Nationals, Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times reports.

The Dodgers plan to have a bullpen game in Sunday's series finale, and Uceta should play a role during the contest. The right-hander has posted a 6.28 ERA and 1.40 WHIP in 14.1 innings across eight appearances (one start) with the major-league club this year.

Helsley, who fired a scoreless two-thirds of an inning during which he allowed a hit and a walk in a win over the Rockies on Friday, now owns a 1.69 ERA across the 5.1 innings covering his last six appearances.

The right-hander has also had some control issues, as he's handed out five free passes during that aforementioned span. Nevertheless, Helsley has largely bounced back from a rough stretch during the latter half of May, as he's now coaxed his ERA down from the season-high 6.85 figure it reached on June 5 to 5.18.
