The Pirates optioned Hartlieb to their alternate training site, Rob Biertempfel of The Athletic reports.

He was sent down to open up a spot on the active roster for right-hander Wil Crowe, who is slated to make a spot start Sunday in Minnesota. Hartlieb didn't make any appearances out of the bullpen during his brief stint with the Pirates.

Santos (0-1) failed to retire a batter, allowing three runs on two hits and a walk to take the loss Saturday versus the Marlins.

Santos dazzled with a perfect inning versus the Marlins in his major-league debut Thursday, but his second outing was significantly worse. He allowed a tiebreaking two-run home run to Jesus Aguilar, then allowed Garrett Cooper to get aboard with a single. Wandy Peralta relieved Santos and allowed the inherited runner to score. The 21-year-old Santos has a fiery fastball and a good slider and should continue to pitch in mid-to-high leverage roles if he can avoid making too many mistakes.

Feyereisen tossed a scoreless seventh inning and picked up a hold in his third consecutive appearance in Saturday's victory over the Cubs.

Feyereisen has not allowed an earned run in 11 appearances this season, and his strong start has helped him secure a key role in the Brewers' bullpen, allowing him to pick up a hold in three of the club's last four wins. He's still not in a very fantasy-friendly role with Josh Hader and Devin Williams ahead of him on the depth chart, but he is presumably in position to get a save opportunity should both fellow relievers be unavailable in a given game.

Manager Davey Martinez said Suero (oblique) is "doing great" and is simulating throws, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Suero was placed on the injured list April 18 and is eligible to return May 1. Given that he has yet to actually throw to this point, that may not be realistic. However, it appears that the team is optimistic about the way his recovery is going.

Jansen earned the save against the Padres on Saturday, throwing 1.1 scoreless innings and yielding one walk while striking out two.

Jansen has now been used for more than one frame in three of his eight appearances this season. He's thrived in the early going, successfully finishing five of six save opportunities while registering a 1.93 ERA and 12:7 K:BB across 9.1 innings. The veteran closer's velocity has ticked up a touch this season, and he appears to still have plenty left in the tank in his 12th MLB campaign.

Hader walked one and struck out two in a scoreless ninth inning Saturday to record his fourth save of the season in a 4-3 win over the Cubs.

The southpaw has been absolutely dominant to begin the season. Hader has yet to give up a run in 6.2 innings and has only allowed one measly hit while racking up a 13:4 K:BB. With two wins in addition to his four saves over seven appearances, Hader has more than earned his draft status as one of the first relievers off the board.

Neris earned his third save of the season Saturday against the Rockies after tossing a scoreless ninth inning, allowing one hit and fanning one.

Neris entered the game with a two-run lead in the bottom of the ninth and didn't have major problems closing things out, tossing nine of his 11 pitches for strikes. Neris allowed a triple to Garrett Hampson with one out, but he struck out Dom Nunez and sealed the game with a Sam Hilliard pop out to end the threat. The 31-year-old right-hander has gone 3-for-4 in save opportunities this season.

Suter (2-1) picked up the win Saturday in a 4-3 victory over the Cubs, giving up two hits and a walk over two scoreless innings.

He entered the game in the fifth inning to replace Freddy Peralta with Milwaukee down 2-0, and Suter got the benefit of the Brewers' bats coming to life. The southpaw has a solid 2.63 ERA through 13.2 innings with an 11:3 K:BB, and he has two holds in nine appearances in addition to his two vultured wins this week.

Gallegos threw two perfect innings to record the save Saturday against the Reds.

Gallegos threw 23 pitches and recorded six outs for his first save of the season. Though he didn't muster any strikeouts, Gallegos had no issues maintaining the lead. Alex Reyes should still be viewed as the team's primary closer for the time being, though the team likely didn't turn to him on this occasion because he had pitched the night before.

Garcia was placed on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a left groin strain.

Garcia has thrown 6.1 innings out of the Giants' bullpen this season, though he's struggled to be effective as he has an 8.53 ERA and 1.42 WHIP with a 9:5 K:BB.
