Beede (3-3) allowed three runs on seven hits over 6.2 innings Sunday, striking out seven and earning the win over Milwaukee.

Beede has been terrific in July, going 2-0 while striking out 11 and allowing four runs over 13.2 innings. Milwaukee managed just one run against him through five innings before Christian Yelich took him deep for a solo blast in the sixth. Beede will aim for his third straight win at home against the Mets on Thursday.

Voth will be recalled from Double-A Harrisburg to start Tuesday at Baltimore, Jesse Dougherty of The Washington Post reports.

Voth will return to the majors this week as expected to make his fourth start of the season. The Nationals have yet to decide their rotation plans beyond Tuesday as they wait to see how long Max Scherzer (back) might be sidelined, but a good outing from Voth could help earn him another look since the team doesn't have another scheduled off day until August 1. The 27-year-old has a 5.52 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 16:5 K:BB through his first three starts this season.

Rodriguez will be called up as the 26th man to start Game 2 of Monday's doubleheader at Colorado, Kerry Crowley of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Rodriguez was sent to High-A San Jose last week so he could continue pitching while Triple-A Sacramento was on break, and he'll rejoin the Giants for Monday's twin bill. The 27-year-old has a 5.27 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 36:23 K:BB over 56.1 innings and may return to the minors following the outing.

Beede was recalled from Double-A Richmond ahead of his start Sunday in Milwaukee.

Beede was sent down when the Giants did not need a fifth starter leading up to the All-Star break, but he returns to the majors for his first start of the second half. The 26-year-old has a 5.64 ERA, 1.66 WHIP and 43:28 K:BB over 44.2 innings this season, but he's allowed only three runs on eight hits in his last two outings, covering 12.1 frames.

Wingenter tossed a scoreless sixth inning, allowing two hits and striking out one to earn a hold in Saturday's 7-5 loss to the Braves.

The reliever was able to keep his line clean before the game turned into a back-and-forth affair. Wingenter is up to 12 holds this year with a 3.34 ERA and 1.03 WHIP across 35 innings. The 25-year-old also has a 47:17 K:BB and a 1-1 record in his 35 appearances.

Yates allowed two hits and struck out four over two innings while recording his second blown save of the year in a 7-5 loss to the Braves on Saturday.

Yates allowed Josh Donaldson to score on an Austin Riley sacrifice fly in the eighth inning, inheriting the runner from reliever Gerardo Reyes. It's a tough statistical break for the closer Yates, who is now 30-for-32 in save chances with a sparkling 1.10 ERA and 0.80 WHIP in 41 innings. With a 64:9 K:BB, he's also one of the most dominating relievers in the league this season.

Jackson allowed one run on two hits and two walks while striking out one to earn his 16th save of the season in Saturday's 7-5 extra-inning win over the Padres.

The Braves gave Jackson a three-run lead in the top of the 10th inning, but the closer made things interesting by loading the bases before striking out Padres pitcher Luis Perdomo to escape the jam. Jackson has allowed a run in each of his saves to start the second half of the season, pushing his ERA up to 2.93 for the year. The 27-year-old also has a 62:18 K:BB in 46 innings this season.

Diaz allowed one hit and struck out one in the ninth inning to earn the save in a 4-2 victory over the Marlins on Saturday.

The 25-year-old needs a lot more of these kinds of outings to bring his numbers back down to normal after he yielded five runs June 27 and four runs in a loss a week later. Diaz is 1-6 and 20-for-24 in save opportunities. He also has a 5.35 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 57 strikeouts in 35.1 innings this season.

Neris (1-4) took the loss Saturday as the Phillies fell 4-3 to the Nationals, giving up two runs on two hits and a walk over 1.1 innings while striking out one.

After getting the final out of the eighth inning to escape a jam created by Adam Morgan, Neris created his own trouble in the ninth, serving up a game-winning two-run homer to Juan Soto with two outs. It was the right-hander's third blown save of the season in 20 chances, but his 3.52 ERA and 50:14 K:BB through 38.1 innings should ensure he retains a prominent spot in the Phillies' bullpen even if the club brings in reinforcements at the trade deadline.

Ponce de Leon will start Wednesday's game against the Pirates, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.

Ponce de Leon was excellent in Friday's spot start with one run allowed on three hits over 6.2 innings, earning him a more extended look in the starting rotation. The 27-year-old has been impressive in his seven major-league outings (including four starts) this season with a 1.99 ERA, 0.82 WHIP and 38:11 K:BB across 31.2 innings.
