Cardinals' Riley O'Brien: Activated, sent to Triple-A
The Cardinals activated O'Brien (forearm) from the 60-day injured list Sunday and optioned him to Triple-A Memphis.
O'Brien has been sidelined since he suffered a flexor strain Opening Day against the Dodgers, and he'll head to the minors now that he's healthy. The 29-year-old allowed two earned runs with a 5:4 K:BB over eight innings during his rehab assignment with Memphis.

Humberto Castellanos RP | ARI
Diamondbacks' Humberto Castellanos: DFA'd by Arizona
The Diamondbacks designated Castellano for assignment Sunday, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.
The 26-year-old was optioned to Triple-A Reno on Thursday and has now lost his place on the 40-man roster. Castellanos posted a 5.23 ERA in seven outings for the Diamondbacks, and he could remain with Reno if he passes through waivers unclaimed.

Rob Zastryzny RP | MIL
Brewers' Rob Zastryzny: Kicks off rehab assignment
Zastryzny (elbow) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Nashville on Friday, striking out a batter while allowing two walks and one hit over a scoreless inning in his first appearance.
Zastryzny may require another appearance or two in the minors before the Brewers bring him back from the 15-day injured list. Before being deactivated July 26 due to left elbow tendinitis, Zastryzny made nine appearances for the Brewers and posted a 1.17 ERA, 0.65 WHIP and 5:1 K:BB across 7.2 innings.

Trevor Megill RP | MIL
Brewers' Trevor Megill: Ready to face hitters
Megill (back) is scheduled to throw a live batting practice session Monday, Sophia Minnaert of Bally Sports Wisconsin reports.
According to Adam McCalvy of MLB.com, Megill will head out on a rehab assignment if all goes well during Monday's throwing session. The right-hander was placed on the 15-day injured list July 29 due to a lower-back strain and likely won't need more than one or two tune-up outings in the minors before rejoining the Milwaukee bullpen. Megill leads the Brewers with 20 saves on the season, but he'll likely have to settle for setup work moving forward after closer Devin Williams returned July 28 from a season-long stay on the IL.

Enoli Paredes RP | BAL
Brewers' Enoli Paredes: Shifts to 60-day IL
The Brewers transferred Paredes (forearm) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Sunday.
The transaction clears room on the 40-man roster for southpaw DL Hall (knee), who was activated from the 60-day injured list ahead of his scheduled start Sunday versus the Reds. Paredes was initially placed on the IL on July 3 due to right forearm tendinitis and won't be eligible to rejoin the Milwaukee bullpen until early September.

Scott McGough RP | ATH
Diamondbacks' Scott McGough: Sent to Triple-A
The Diamondbacks optioned McGough to Triple-A Reno on Sunday, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.
The right-hander was called up by Arizona on Friday and will return to Reno after he delivered two scoreless frames during Saturday's contest. McGough has a 6.83 ERA, 1.62 WHIP and 20:19 K:BB across 29 major-league innings this year.

Josh Rogers RP | COL
Rockies' Josh Rogers: Contract selected
The Rockies selected Rogers' contract from Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday.
The left-hander was designated for assignment by the Rockies in mid-July but will return to the big-league roster for Sunday's series finale versus Atlanta. Rogers has a 6.75 ERA over 9.1 frames in the majors this season and should fill a low-leverage role out of the bullpen.

Hoby Milner RP | CHC
Brewers' Hoby Milner: Lands on injured list
The Brewers placed Milner on the 15-day injured list Sunday due to a left shoulder impingement.
It's unclear when the injured surfaced for Milner, but manager Pat Murphy noted that the southpaw was experiencing a loss of range of motion and strength, according to Sophia Minnaert of Bally Sports Wisconsin. The injury likely contributed to Milner's recent struggles, as he had surrendered five runs over two frames in his last two outings. The left-hander will be eligible to be reinstated in late August, though it's unclear how long he's expected to be sidelined.

Jhony Brito SP | SD
Padres' Jhony Brito: Sent back to El Paso
The Padres optioned Brito to Triple-A El Paso on Sunday.
Two days after being called up from El Paso, Brito will return to the minors. Since Brito was needed to cover 2.1 innings out of the bullpen in Saturday's 9-8 win and was unlikely to be available for the next couple of games, the Padres will swap him out of the bullpen for a fresh arm in right-hander Sean Reynolds, who was recalled from Triple-A in a corresponding move.
