The Red Sox optioned Horn to Triple-A Worcester on Monday, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.

Horn was busy over the past week, allowing three runs in four innings covering five appearances. He's being replaced by a fresh bullpen arm in Greg Weissert.

The Brewers optioned Peguero to Triple-A Nashville on Monday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Peguero had posted a 1.38 ERA and 13:6 K:BB over his last 13 innings covering 15 appearances but nonetheless finds himself back in the minors. The Brewers have not yet announced a corresponding move, but Trevor Megill (back) returning from the injured list appears highly probable.

The Guardians transferred Hentges (shoulder) from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Monday.

Hentges has been on the shelf since July 12 due to left shoulder swelling and was removed from his rehab assignment Aug. 9 with soreness in the shoulder. The move to the 60-day IL means that Hentges won't be eligible to return until Sept. 10. Anthony Gose was called up from Triple-A Columbus to take Hentges' spot on the 40-man roster.

The Guardians selected Gose's contract from Triple-A Columbus on Monday.

Cleveland DFA'd Gose on Aug. 9, but he stuck around in the organization after clearing waivers. Just 10 days later, he'll return to the Guardians' active roster, taking Alex Cobb's (fingernail) spot as Cobb hits the IL. Gose allowed two runs across 1.1 innings in his lone MLB appearance this season but has a 3.46 ERA with a 55:25 K:BB across 39 innings out of the bullpen for Columbus.

The Blue Jays claimed Lucas off waivers Monday.

The Tigers designated Lucas for assignment Friday after he allowed two runs in 3.1 innings. While he finds a new home in Toronto, the 27-year-old will likely report to Triple-A Buffalo. Lucas logged a 3.51 ERA across 33.1 innings for Detroit's Triple-A affiliate. Alek Manoah (elbow) was moved to the 60-day injured list to open up a spot on the 40-man roster for Lucas.

Atlanta optioned Herget to Triple-A Gwinnett on Monday.

Herget's latest stint in the big leagues lasted a little less than a week and he was charged with one run over three innings covering two relief appearances. He's the roster casualty as Atlanta makes room for Reynaldo Lopez, who will return from the injured list to start Tuesday versus the Phillies.

Triple-A Louisville placed Richardson on the 7-day injured list Sunday.

It's not clear what injury the right-hander is dealing with or how long he might be sidelined. Richardson has spent most of the season in Louisville's rotation but had been used in long relief in each of his last three appearances, allowing five runs over eight frames.

The Reds optioned Legumina to Triple-A Louisville on Monday.

Legumina's latest stint in the majors lasted one day, as he allowed four runs over two relief innings in Sunday's loss to the Royals. He's clearing out to make room on the roster for right-hander Julian Aguiar, who was called up from Triple-A to start Monday's contest in Toronto.

Jimenez (1-3) took the extra-inning loss to the Giants on Sunday, allowing three runs (two earned) on two hits over one inning. He struck out three.

Jimenez was thrown right into the mix following his activation from the IL earlier in the day, as he was called on to preserve a 1-1 tie in the 10th after closer Mason Miller had handled the ninth. Jimenez immediately faltered by surrendering a two-run home run to Jerar Encarnacion with Matt Chapman aboard, and he followed it up by conceding a solo shot to the very next batter, Michael Conforto. The right-hander then bore down to record three consecutive swinging strikeouts, but the damage was done. Despite the long-ball issues in his return, Jimenez has typically been one of the most trusted later-inning options in Oakland's bullpen over the last two-plus seasons, and he's therefore likely to continue seeing plenty of hold opportunities, at minimum.

The Marlins selected Oller's contract from Triple-A Jacksonville on Monday.

Oller will start Monday's contest against the Diamondbacks after posting a 2.88 ERA and 24:7 K:BB over 25 innings covering three starts and three relief appearances with Jacksonville. Given the state of the Marlins' rotation, Oller is a candidate to make multiple starts.
