Rockies manager Bud Black said Friday that Lambert will be moving out of the rotation to the bullpen, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Lambert has started three games for the Rockies this season, giving up at least four runs in each of them. In his last outing against the Cubs on Thursday, Lambert allowed seven runs on nine hits while striking out two over three innings. The right-hander has a 7.61 ERA and 1.69 WHIP over 23.2 innings this season. Southpaw Ty Blach could shift into the rotation for Colorado.

Manager Pat Murphy said Friday that Williams (back) is scheduled to begin playing catch within the next two weeks, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Williams will be looked at by a doctor within the next few days, which will help determine how far away he is from beginning a throwing program. Though he seems to be trending in the right direction, the 29-year-old closer is still not expected back until around the All-Star break.

Middleton (forearm) threw off the mound again Friday and is set for a rehab assignment next week, John Denton of MLB.com reports.

Middleton is on the cusp of a rehab assignment according to manager Oli Marmol, who explained that the reliever will report to either Double-A Springfield or Triple-A Memphis for his assignment this upcoming week. The right-hander is eligible to return from the 15-day injured list May 17, and he appears to be on track to return from his forearm injury on or close to that date.

The Rangers recalled Anderson from Triple-A Round Rock on Friday.

Anderson will join Texas' bullpen as a replacement for Josh Sborz (shoulder), who landed on the 15-day injured list Thursday. Anderson has appeared in four games for the Rangers this season, allowing four earned runs across three innings while striking out five batters and walking none. He will likely be limited to low-leverage situations while in the big leagues.

Manager Carlos Mendoza said Friday that Raley (elbow) is "not close" to throwing and will be seeing another doctor, Tim Britton of The Athletic reports.

Raley hasn't received much good news since being placed on the 15-day IL on April 21, initially being expected to return as soon as eligible before having his return date extended. Mendoza said May 2 that they'd be taking it slow with Raley, as it seems the inflammation in Raley's throwing elbow isn't healing as expected. Raley will see orthopedic surgeon Dr. Keith Meister next week and is still weighing all options, including Tommy John surgery or internal brace surgery, but also rest/rehab, per Anthony DiComo of MLB.com.

Garcia (back) is available for Friday's game against the Twins, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Garcia hasn't pitched in a game since April 28 but is ready to take the mound this weekend versus Minnesota. The right-hander has been dominant this season with a 0.68 ERA, 0.53 WHIP and 16:3 K:BB across 13.1 innings, and he should continue to serve as the setup man to closer Jordan Romano.

Green (shoulder) threw a bullpen session Friday, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

Friday's bullpen marks Green's first action off a mound since being placed on the injured list April 20 and marks a significant step in his recovery from a right shoulder strain. At this pace, Green could be back in action later this month.

O'Brien (forearm) was transferred from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Friday, John Denton of MLB.com reports.

O'Brien's transfer to the 60-day IL makes room on the 40-man roster for Kolton Ingram, who was acquired off waivers. O'Brien was close to starting his throwing program in mid-April, but no updates have been provided since. He'll be eligible for reinstatement May 30, though it seems far from definite that he'll be ready for immediate action.

The Brewers transferred Bukauskas (triceps) to the 60-day injured list Friday.

The move frees up a spot on the 40-man roster. Bukauskas has been sidelined since mid-April with a right triceps strain and now won't be eligible to return until mid-June.

The Brewers optioned Myers to Triple-A Nashville on Friday.

The transaction comes one day after Myers was charged with one run on three hits and four walks over four innings in a no-decision versus the Cardinals. Myers should be under consideration for future starts with the Brewers but will rejoin Nashville's rotation for the time being.
