Wilson was removed from Tuesday's game against the Padres with an apparent knee injury, Gordon Wittenmyer of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Wilson took a line drive off the inside of his right knee during the eighth inning of Tuesday's contest and was immediately removed from the game. The severity of his injury remains unclear, but the Reds should provide an update once more is known.

Hader (1-2) earned the win Tuesday, allowing one unearned run on one hit and one walk with four strikeouts over two innings against the Guardians.

Hader surrendered a double to David Fry in the 10th inning that plated designated runner Josh Naylor as the go-ahead run. Still, Hader ended up with his first victory of the campaign following a Victor Caratini walk-off homer in the home half of the frame. After a bounce-back 2023 season, Hader looks to have regressed to his poor 2022 form (5.22 ERA across 56 appearances), producing a 6.39 ERA across the first 12.2 innings of his Astros tenure.

Gaddis (1-1) blew the save and took the loss Tuesday, allowing two runs (one earned) on one hit with one strikeout across two-thirds of an inning against Houston.

Gaddis took the mound in the 10th inning with a one-run lead but surrendered a two-out, two-run walk-off homer to Victor Caratini. Gaddis has logged a blown save in three straight appearances -- his only save chances of the campaign -- with six runs (five earned) allowed across three innings, after failing to surrender a run in his first 12.1 innings of action this season.

Patino underwent Tommy John surgery on his right elbow Tuesday, Emily Waldon of Baseball America reports.

Patino initially landed on the injured list during spring training due to right elbow inflammation, and he'll now be sidelined until midway through the 2025 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery. The 24-year-old right-hander owns a 5.02 ERA and 1.62 WHIP through 136.1 career big-league innings.

Lopez gave up one run on one hit in the ninth inning Tuesday to record his second save of the season in a 4-2 win over the Cubs.

Edwin Diaz had pitched each of the last two days, and after Adam Ottavino worked the eighth inning, Lopez got the call in the ninth to protect a three-run lead. The 31-year-old righty also has three holds in his 14 appearances as he begins to see more consistent high-leverage usage, and he's earned the trust of manager Carlos Mendoza with a 1.88 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 12:4 K:BB through 14.1 innings.

Alzolay (1-3) allowed three unearned runs on two hits across one inning to take the loss Tuesday against the Mets.

Alzolay should have had a 1-2-3 sixth inning, but a Dansby Swanson throwing error gave the Mets life, and they took advantage. A single and a three-run home run by DJ Stewart quickly broke open a 1-1 tie, and New York hung on for the 4-2 win, which saddled Alzolay with his third loss of the season. While it wasn't all his fault Tuesday, it's been a struggle overall for the righty, as he blew four saves in the early going to get yanked from the closer's role. Hector Neris stepped in to replace Alzolay, and it doesn't look like things are going to change anytime soon.

Holton (2-0) allowed a run on a hit and a walk but managed to earn the win in the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Cardinals.

Spot starter Matt Manning only covered 4.2 innings, so Holton walked into a win by coming out of the bullpen first in the 11-6 victory. While the 2-0 record is nice, the lefty has been uneven with a 5.40 ERA so far, and he's already allowed three home runs across 13.1 innings after surrendering only nine long balls in 85.1 innings last season. Holton posted a strong 2.11 ERA and 0.87 WHIP in 2023 as well, so if he can keep the ball in the yard moving forward, he figures to find a bit more success.

The Angels optioned Daniel to Triple-A Salt Lake on Tuesday.

Daniel was recalled from Triple-A on Monday, but he will be sent back down a day later without appearing in a game for the Angels. The 26-year-old righty owns a 6.08 ERA and 1.81 WHIP at Salt Lake and will continue serving as organizational depth as part of the Bees' rotation.

Helsley struck out two in a perfect ninth inning Tuesday to record his 10th save of the season in the first game of a doubleheader against the Tigers.

All 10 pitches Helsley fired were strikes, and he hit triple digits on the radar gun with three of them. The right-hander has been lights out to begin the season, converting 10 of 11 save chances with a 1.69 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 19:2 K:BB through 16 innings.

Webb earned the save Tuesday against the Yankees, striking out three in 1.1 perfect innings.

Webb struck out Aaron Judge for the final out in the eighth inning before setting the Yankees down in order in the ninth, earning his first save this season. While the 30-year-old Webb was impressive against the heart of New York's batting order, he isn't likely to see many save chances going forward in Baltimore -- Craig Kimbrel (back) and Yennier Cano were both likely unavailable Tuesday. Webb sports a 2.03 ERA on the season with a 0.90 WHIP and 15:3 K:BB across 13.1 innings.
